I'm 29, and I have wisdom teeth that need to get removed. That rant got me. My dentist was the polar opposite, though. I went for the first time in years about a year ago (because of no insurance) because I had an infection. My dentist was like "has this really never happened before? Usually wisdom teeth will cause problems at least once a year." I was like, "uh, no". He was like "huh. Well, in that case, take some cheap antibiotics, here's a prescription. When you get insurance, come back and we'll remove them."

Got mine out when I was in high school. Woke up during it right when they absolutely shattered one, immediately passed back out. My recovery was ez, though. Sucked at first obviously but healed up normally and quickly.

You’re more likely to give yourself a heart attack sprinting than you are to tear a muscle. Even if you only ever walk your leg muscles are still getting a daily workout from hauling a human weight. It would be like if your arms were doing pushups all day but without the support of your legs, its a great workout for them even if we don’t feel like it due to being acclimated. (Think of how hard it is for babies like Luna to walk, because their muscles haven’t). But if you rarely do intensive cardio your heart is likely not undergoing that much stress, and will struggle to keep up with what your let muscles are doing. You’ll huff and puff but you’ll still feel like you’re running out of oxygen because your blood isn’t distributing it fast enough, and your heart will try to accelerate to compensate but being unused to this strain can experience any number of cardiovascular issues. And indeed it is this that makes cardio essential, and gives it its life extending properties by decreasing the likelihood of such illnesses. You just need to steadily acclimate yourself by gradually increasing the intensity of your workout over time rather than trying to go 0 to 60 like a ferrari. Jumping into the deep end like that is a great way to damage your health, don’t base your decisions on youtube please consult your physician to determine your individual risk factors. I am not a doctor, just a cardio addict.
