Dual scaling is good? Not necessarily. Yes, you can use multiple stats and buffers and they'll all work, but at the same time, they all buff you less So to get max potential on Chiori for example, you want to buff both her atk and def, which means you have to reserve two team slots to buff her vs a single scaling character

@@nyeonii Did you misunderstand something? I mean say that Chiori wasn't dual scaling, and needed only Def Then say her skill scaling was 100% of her def. Then use Gorou to buff her def, by say 300, and Bennett to buff Atk by say 500 Then she deals a flat 300 damage more per skill with Gorou and 0 extra damage with Bennett But since she's dual scaling, her skill multipliers are like 50% Atk + 50% Def Then using Gorou only buffs her skill damage by 150 damage per cast, and Bennett for 250 per cast = 400 damage extra per skill, but takes TWO slots to get this buff If you used Bennett and Sara, and Sara buffed atk by 300, you'd still get 150+250 dmg If she scaled on only atk, she'd gain 500 damage per skill with Bennett, and 300 with Sara = 800 dmg, which is double the damage buff she can get with two characters as a dual scaling character See the issue here? If she scaled with a single stat, buffers buff her more Same with stats, you need a good balance of both stats to get the most damage out of her, proportional to her skill multiplier (if it's 60% def + 40% atk, you want def:atk=60:40) Edit: Added Sara to the example to make it easier to understand Edit: You're right that dual scaling is way better than split scaling, but there are pros and cons to dual scaling over single scaling too, but I think the cons outweigh the pros Pros: -Can make use of multiple substats on artifacts -Can work with more characters -Can use more weapons/artifacts effectively Cons: -Hard to build optimally (for single scaling characters, you farm to get a single stat as high as possible, but you want exact ratios on dual scaling characters) -Buffs don't work as well

Split scaling also isn't necessarily bad, if properly designed. They could make a character, for example, that deals Hu Tao levels of damage if built for attack, but offers a Zhongli level of shielding if built for hp and def. Probably the closest we get to this, though not designed that way, is Raiden, where built for EM, she's a strong hyperbloom trigger, but build her for her more normal stats, probably with C2, and now she's a decent direct damage dealer. Genshin, though, with all its substats and weapons that convert things and such, can't really fully utilize that. Meanwhile, dual scaling does have its downsides. Specifically, you tend to have a lower ceiling on damage, if the devs aim for a certain average level of damage, or else need better gear to hit the max ceiling, if the devs aim to have that capped at a certain point. Either way, dual scaling tends to result in lower numbers for highly invested people than a single stat scaling thing. But on the plus side, you generally do more for a lower invested person.

My team is Zhongli , Chiori , Gorou and Bennet. im very happy that my C0/R1 Chiori with her Burst + Skill deals total 148k damage + the 2 coordinated attack from dolls are 52k + 52k. Now the total is 250k damage per rotation. This all with just talent level 1 - 5 - 5. I DONT REGRET ANYTHING.

I went for her C1 and her weapon. I'm a Navia main, so I didn't want to have to worry about adding another Geo to create constructs. Chiori is super fun, and I'm really glad I got her :) **Also, thank you for clearly explaining that she is dual scaling. Almost every other content creator said she was split scaling and complained about it 😭

Why not both? I got c1/r1 with 60 wishes f2p. First 10 pull I got chiori (no pity or guarantee) 40 more pulls c1. Weapon banner (7 Pity) first 10 pull got Uraku 74 wishes left over.

Yea it is 3% just to get the first 5 star on 10 pull for it to happen back to back again is a .09% chance so yes beyond lucky. Getting her in 40 pulls with no pity/guarantee is 12%. @@calvinwilson3617

Only just started the video, and I wanted to say thank you. For not calling them tomato. It felt like every content creator I've heard talk about her, always calls them tomato, or tamato and it harmed me. I personally never liked Albedo for my Itto team, so Chiori is quite nice addition to my mono geo.

I know almost everyone is skipping Chiori because of Arlecchino and etc but for the few people that pulled for Chiori it’s unexplainable how attached we quickly got to her playstyle. I guess it was her design and story quest that convinced me, because really I criticized her kit so much because of the double Geo stuff. Like, I hate mono Geo and I don’t have Itto. Ended up pulling for her anyway after trying her a few times, then spent 10 hours farming primogems and got her sword. Was worried that she wouldn’t work since I don’t have Itto, figured out that she can actually virtually work in any team as long as you have Zhongli to pair her up with and a strong dps. Currently I am using her with my Lyney team and it’s working wonders. I always had difficulty with Lyney team because using just Zhongli was a lack of damage. Chiori’s damage compensated for using 1 less Pyro on the team, since Bennett will also help buff her and now I really don’t have to worry about Lynsey’s charges attacks being interrupted. I haven’t tried another team yet, I honestly don’t think I have any other strong team that will work, but I am loving this one, it worked perfectly because tbh I was almost benching Lyney.

I actuallly really like that team comp! I might play her with Zhongli, Lyney and Dehya if I want a break from mono geo. That sounds like a fun comp! Her play style is really enjoyable for me so any excuse to put her on more teams is good haha

10:47 The only thing is, going the weapon route might give you 4 star weapons you might not use, while going the constellation route gives you possible helpful Goru constellations (especially C4 and C6.) Also, it takes 240 pulls to guarantee the weapon, versus 180 pulls to guarantee the Chiori's constellation. I mean, I know Eakes is fan of the Alley flash and the bell (hehehehehe...)

Not snap shotting is actualy a blessing for Chiori, this way you can always start with her and see the damage increase while building fanfare with Furina and/or standing in a bennet circle

My favorite team to run with her is Chiori, Yun Jin, Gorou, and Zhongli. I highly suggest you use it. It uses Yun Jin to buff Chiori's weak normal attack to make up for the damage

I'm a big Chiori fan and I'm determined to make her work at C0 with a less-than-ideal weapon! I told myself I would save up for her since I spent all my wishes getting Itto, Albedo and Jean already, but worked so hard trying to earn enough primos to get her too, and I'm so lucky that I won the 50/50 (I've virtually explored everything so I was literally doing achievements and TCG haha) I initially wanted her for my Navia comp but since I found out about the constructs thing and how inadvisable it is, I had to change my plans. So I replaced Albedo in my mono geo comp. Albedo is flexible enough and good enough at crystallise to work well with Navia, and that leaves a perfect spot for Chiori! To be honest she's surprised me! Her build is subpar right now and her talents are underlevelled because I'm very low on resources, but she's proving herself pretty well I added her in slot 4 for her quick-swap feature too which is so much fun. I start with Gorou for the geo field, then Zhongli for shield and a construct, then Chiori to place Tamoto and then quick swap to Itto and throw out Ushi! It's so enjoyable, I really love having her! I know her C1 and weapon are absolutely brilliant additions and can make Chiori a much better, more flexible unit, but I really can't justify it. Cons are just so expensive and since I rarely spend in the game aside from BP and welkins, it's just too many primos. And weapons can be even more costly! I'm by no means trying to be the best though, so I'm just relieved I got her haha

@@jeangrey2788 Think of Chiori as Albedo+12%. If you already have Albedo and your primos aren't limitless, then you can skip Chiori. If you have none of them, then Chiori is superior to Albedo now. Good luck with that info next year!

I run Chiori with Navia, Ningguang, and Layla. It is one of my top favorite teams because it features all 3 of my Geo Queens and it also works rather well. It's a good counterpart to the testosterone-fueled Geo men's team of Itto, Zhongli, Albedo, and Gorou. 😆

I have her at lvl 80 with E on lvl 8 and she is doing 23k dmg per tick and 50k on summoning. Im shoked how good her dmg is, even more shocked because people trashed her so much. Albedo is not even close her lvl

I was an albedo main since his release. I had gotten him to deal 150k with a blossom, I had min maxed him to such extremes and yet with mediocre gear chiori outdamaged him. I was upset, mad, and mostly sad that I just couldnt make Albedo meta strong enough to be worth the slot in most of my teams and then chiori just replaced him, but now I am rocking one of the most cracked chioris and will eventually save the primos to C6 her :P

Chiori movespeed does stack with anemo resonance. Good guide aside from this misinfo. Really easy to test this with wanderer at stormterror bridge waypoint. Waypoint, press E and sprint along the bridge, noting where you land when flight ends Test 1: no boosts Test 2: equip lost prayer Test 3: add anemo res Test 4: add chiori (and non-standard glider) With each of tests 2-4 you can see that your endpoint is progressively further.

Would Albedo still be competitive on Navia teams since they don't have Geo constructs? Though, as someone with Navia but neither Albedo nor Chiori (but who wants to get Zhongli in the future), it would probably just be better to get Chiori. She fulfill the same role as Albedo with Navia and has more flexibility in other teams.
