I was in your exact boat for a long time The biggest think I’ve learned from when I began lifting to now (2-3 years) is that even with good nutrition and consistent exercise, results take a long while and real definition and aesthetic looks can take years. Noel absolutely uses a few different PED’s to aid muscle development, but his level of definition and aesthetic comes from 13 years of lifting. Just stick to it brotha Don’t compare yourself to those you see online

i only take testosterone because i have a naturally very low level of it due to genetics. I only take it so i can reach the average testosterone level of a natural man. That's why I stopped caring about gains and focused on speed, flexibility and getting the strongest I can. It's what I've been given, but I have to admit I always had curiosity about looking jacked and considered just taking a cycle and get it over with. But liking the way I look or getting even bigger is opening a can of worms that I'd better avoid

I love this. Im on testosterone because I have a pituitary adenoma that has basically all but stopped natural testosterone production in my body since I was 21. Didn't start on testosterone until I was 30 and realized that no testosterone is HORRIBLE as a man. Lethargic, depressed, anxious (to the point of throwing up), shit memory, and the inability to put on muscle. Like.. at all. Fast forward 6 months into a Doctor prescribed testosterone replacement plan and I feel incredible. Like over the moon. The same time I started taking the injections, I got an IFBB coach and changed my diet to literally just chicken, rice, and veggies. Started at 3k calories a day, then 4k, now 6k. I went from 204 (30% body fat), to 160 lean (cardio and no carbs during this phase), to 212 lbs with muscle. When I added carbs and testosterone I put on 15lbs of muscle in a month, Ungodly. The only "discomfort" I feel about being asked if Im on "gear" is that if I say im on testosterone, even if my levels are average, people immediately contribute months if not years of hard brutal work at the gym and the hardest diet Ive ever followed to just testosterone. I worked out hard for years and couldnt put on muscle or lose fat with sub 100 testosterone. I finally have 800 and feel INCREDIBLE. My wife and I are actually intimate for the first time since we basically got married 7 years ago. Think about that. I digress. People assume im taking "steroids and gear" and THAT is why I am big, when in reality I spent 10 years at almost female levels and feeling like I couldnt see in color, working 3x as hard to get 1/5th the results. But, even with "normal" range T, I am "not natty" because Im taking it. I don't hide it if someone asks me, but I do clarify, "I don't take steroids, but I am on testosterone because a brain tumor prevents my body from making it on its own." If they want to belittle the work Ive put in, that's on them. I think it's important to be honest, but I also think, for the average person, diet is the limiting factor. Dudes will spend hours in the gym and not put on mass, and come to find out they are eating once a day or getting most their calories from drinking or sugar. Change their diet to something clean, high protein, with a much higher calorie intake throughout the day and boom - they should start to see major results. Can't put on mass if you are eating less than what you're burning everyday. That being said, unless you have a medical reason to start testosterone, it's not worth it. Like at all. Acne sucks, monitoring your blood levels and estrogen sucks, your fertility and ball size take a major hit. I'd much rather have brain surgery and get the tumor removed, but the neuro recommended against that since there's no guarantee that removing it will restart production of natural T. This is my life now.
