Super super important characters that they will most likely be dropping one per patch cycle (Miyabi is this cycles ultra agent if you will)

Also Caesar feels so good with Soldier 11, especially for the anti-interrupt. I almost always get interrupted on Soldiers 11’s combo. Caesar also gives 1000 flat atk buff and the shield is easily 3k health. Must pull for me

flossin, I hear you but skipping yanagi is absolutely crazy work 😅. my strategy for pulling has always been to pull the most universal agents (Qingyi/Ceaser) or ones that fulfill a specific niche (Yanagi ) to future-proof my account. more so, yanagi being an electric anomaly only further makes me convinced miyabi might be an ice anomaly agent (contastly procing freeze and delivering shatter damage) as anomalies like to paired with other anomalies

Miyabi wont be ice anomaly this much i can tell you. She was ice attacker in beta and there’s no way they are releasing yet another anomaly agent after releasing so many in a row. I dont think we’ll get an anomaly agent before 1.5/1.6 whenever the idols will come out. From what we know one of the idols will be an Ether anomaly agent which will definitely be super good with… you guessed right Yanagi. Corruption and shock are insanely strong DOT effects and when you trigger their disorders, they get even stronger. In the future, we might get more off-field characters for Yanagi. So even more reasons to pull for her.

I could understand why people might think she would be an anomaly unit, but I feel like it’s unlikely due to the way shatter works. Shatter buffs crit dmg, and that type of secondary effect is pretty useless on anomaly units in general. The only way I can see her being an anomaly unit would be if either hoyo gives her split scaling (hybrid crit/anomaly dps) or she’s just an anomaly unit that plays like a regular crit dps (like acheron from hsr). I feel like these things could happen, but it’s just more likely that hoyo’s going to just make her a regular attacker unit.

at the end of the day this game is PVE. So the build should be around the characters you love. I’m going for Miyabi and Yanagi. Lighter, if I got lucky with Yanagi 😭

There’s a lot of information on her already from testing and she’s definitely not a skip .. (ESPECIALLY if you have Rina.. the one stupid agent I still don’t have in the game .. the ONLY AGENT! 😅) her synergy with Rina is going to be insane and it’s looking like Burnice Rina Yanagi could be the next best team (I’m not sure what Yanagi’s w engine is but I feel like graces would be a good cover for her as the stat sheets are showing that Yanagi’s disorder damage (that has a 400% buff) gets even better if you use 5 slot pen ratio and have Rina She looks really interesting to say the least .. I like the idea of being able to trigger mono element disorder damage too (finally makes a full electric team viable (I can see Qinyui Rina Yanagi being the best mono electric team)

What I’m curious about is the main stat on Yanagi’s engine.. because if the engine isn’t that great I think it would be very wise to use Graces engine on Yanagi to be able to hit 85% pen ratio on Yanagi if you use Rina and have pen disc on Yanagi for slot 5

Since I don't have a good fire DPS yet I will pull for Burnice, hoping to get her before her banner ends. After that, for the exact same reasons stated here in this video, I will skip Yanagi and save everything for Miyabi. I wasn't really interested that much in Miyabi, but recently she kinda grew on me, and I seriously lack ice DPS too so I guess she would be a great addition to my crew

All the endgame content is easily clearable even without the "most optimal setup", so missing out on the most powerful current team doesn't matter, you clear critical node either way. Signature W engines & Mindscapes only make sense to future proof a character you like. Getting great disc drives will have a larger impact on damage than a sig w engine or m1 anyway

I certainly enjoy s11, but she feels very weak, especially after getting the taste of jane's insane damage output. After pairing her with Burnice, burn has pretty much 100% uptime, which certainly makes it more fun

I tested Burnice with Grace and Anby, and they just annihilate everything. I also run a team of fire and physical and I'm really surprised about how well they synergize with one another. As a Soldier 11 main myself and running her alongside Burnice, with a crit build every time someone receives a Burn anomaly, the damage is just insane, the same can be said for even like Anby or Soldier 11, I was even building up disorders with just her, Piper and Anby, I actually don't understand why a lot says Burnice right now does not get much damage unless you have Jane Doe or Yanagi. I'll honestly pull more for Lycaon because I don't have a reliable ice-type.

I hear you, but tbh I don't have a single electric DPS aside from Anton, and I hate using Anton. So I'm going all in on Yanagi & skipping Lighter. I don't really have either of the DPS that Lighter needs like Ellen or Soldier 11. Sure, he also probably plays into buffing Miyabi, but she can slot into a Soukaku-Lycaon team for me. Anton, I just don't mesh well with his playstyle. If she's going to be the only Electric Premium DPS we'll get for a while, I'll go for her and then Miyabi. I'm going all in on Anomaly playstyles, at least until they release some sort of premium support that giga buffs attackers.

Honestly, originally would have skipped Yanagi too, but I recently found myself in a situation that I'll benefit more if I have her since I got a Rina copy through the standard signal search and she's now M1W1 so I built her. I believe running Yanagi would assist me in building two Anomaly DPS teams now (Jane team running Caesar and Seth M4 and Yanagi team running Rina and Burnice) which would help me cover elec, phys, and ice weakness (I have an Ellen team running Caesar and M6 Soukaku) for end game. If Miyabi ever becomes an ATK Ice DPS, I might replace Ellen with Miyabi, but its not really a huge priority.

Yanagi will be more like Jane that grace, grace is actually more like Burnice. She gets in, procs shock with ex and out. Yanagi will be an on field disorder carry that can work also on mono electric teams. So if you dont need yet another onfield anomaly carry and you do not have Burnice, is an easy skip.

Like you flossin, Although Yanagi's kit is amazing in Disorder teams. (Disorder damage buff wth? 1m/2m/3m disorder damage soon?) I'll most likely skip her because: 1. I have Grace and her sig W-Engine 2. I have Rina and her sig W-Engine These guys paired with Burnice already feels amazing to play even though my disc drive substats are trash. It's sad that Grace will be powercrept soon but it is what it is. I started playing in patch 1.1 so I'm thinking of getting Ellen on her re-run. Or if Miyabi is really an ice element agent, then definitely her over Ellen.

I love Burnice. And I can use Burnice with Jane when the enemy has physical weakness. The great thing about an anomaly off fielder, I can use Burnice with every Anomaly on fielder. So Anomaly it is. I will pull for her purely because it means I can use Burnice even more. And if Miyabi is going to anomaly, I will also pull for Miyabi. And if that Idol ether anomaly girl is on field, I will pull for her too. And guess what? If I have all anomaly on fielders from the other elements I can use Burnice all the time. Even with fire resistant enemies, since the on fielder will take care. Another thing, if I get another combination of anomaly off fielder + buffer/shielder, I would have two teams for every weakness with just 8 characters.

Another Soldier 11 enjoyer here! Koleda and Ben currently being her teammate but I recently picked up Caeser plus her weapon so I thought I will pull for Lighter to replace Koleda since her playstyle a lil bit clanky to me. But Burnice....man, she's too fun to ignore. Well, I'm still trying to get her but if she didn't come home then it's okay. After all, I don't build and play an anomaly team at all. My go to teams for Shiyu Defence are Ellen/Soukaku/Caeser , Zhuyuan/Qingyi/Nicole or Caeser/S11/Koleda. my pulling plan for next patch will be getting Lighter and his W-engine. Sorry Yanagi, maybe will pull you on your rerun.

Beyond wanting her ever since i saw Section 6, for me Yanagi fits like a glove. Im playing Burnice in a dissorder composition and Yanagi, from what i've heard, would fit perfectly. That would give me two solid teams with a decent coverage with electric, physical and fire (my Caesar Nekomata Nicole team is the physical one). Right now my problem is that since i have nekomata in one team and Pipper in the other i get really fucked by Physical resistance. After that im skipping Lighter for three main reasons: 1) he doesnt bring anything new for my teams, he doubles down in what already have wich would be fire, more damage and daze. 2) I want to roll for Miyabi so i can get some Ice coverage. ( and i know i can get enought polys for her on 1.3 and .14) 3) Sokaku and Lycaon exist, so if i NEED someone to boost Miyabi i dont really have to go for Lighter. Heck miyabi is probably come with the chance of M6 my Sokaku. Honestly i've been tempeted for a while to consider what if scenarios in case a get lucky, but every time i consider maybe pulling for him i go back to those three points. On a sidenote, i think i managed to beat the FOMO when i resisted the temptation of pulling for Jane to get Caesar and Burnice.

Yanagi is the best long-term pick while Lighter is the best short term pick for Miyabi wanters and Soldier 11 havers cause he buffs fire and ice dmg. However, if you have Lycaon it is completely pointless to waste resources on Lighter as he doesn’t provide enough of a buff (without his weapon) to justify picking him. Lighter does give up to 60% fire and ice damage increase but it’s based on impact and Hoyo will for sure do all they can to put that number behind a paywall that is the signature weapon. He also increase stun duration. Lycaon simply increases the multiplier by a significant amount no matter what (not conditional). Which is imo much better for f2p.

My Yanagi situation is almost entirely dependent on whether or not she is mega disorder focused. I don't have Grace nor Rina at the moment, so my Electric Element representation is lacking overall. I have a half-built fusion compiler I had intended for the worst case scenario of losing both Jane and Burnice 50/50s (which didnt happen) and so its kinda just sitting there while patiently waiting for Grace to come home, unless it turns out to be a good fit for Yanagi. I won't know this for a while, or even how she will handle dps responsibilities related to the alternative in Anton-Grace, but if Chaos Jazz is anything to go by, I think I'm in a comfortable enough spot to make the choice to pull or skip very late into her banner. I'm skipping Lighter regardless, unless he *really* impresses me, I have no reason to pull him outright. As for f2p W-engines, I have used every type of engine except for anomaly as luck would have it, and overall I've been satisfied with the use of Starlight Engine the most. I may consider getting Street Superstar for Anton in the future if I don't get his signature soon. Slice of Time was my support engine carry for Lucy for a long while, but now that I have Kaboom the Cannon I can keep a hold of it until I get Rina and then have recycle use for it. Against everyone's judgement I went for Precious Fossilized Core over Steam Oven for Lycaon and Koleda, and now that I'm ONE (1) A rank pull away from getting Hellfire Gears I can say that fossilized core has served me well and also filled the niche I go for in play. Lastly, Original Transmorpher is a pretty great engine i had a good deal of fun with early on in the game, but now I have signature for Ben and Seth and skipped Caesar and so it will probably be collecting dust for the forseeable future.

Agree in almost everything, but I disagree w.r.t to w-engine specifically. This is because of all the anomaly agents, yanagi is the most likely to be able to make full use of fusion compiler, Grace's sig, which residual signal buildup guarantees. I can say this w/o even having to go into leak territory, because pen% stacks with itself, and all electric agents get to fully double down on that stat, courtesy of Rina. Other factor to consider is that yanagi will be able to run a fully activated Seth, and his +100 AP will go a long way towards correcting any shortcomings of a weaker engine pick.

@@SajtosPogi32i do get that people spend money related to being P2w But p2w is mostly used in competitive games because they win/have advantage over players that dont spend money Or if a game makes you spend money in order to progress then its p2w But Zenless zone zero dont need to spend money to get character or clear shiyu defence etc just ask the F2P players that got the characters they want and cleared shiyu defence without spending money Also there are only A rank characters run that cleared Shiyu defence There are even solo Billy run that cleared it

Even if Yanagi power crept Grace it won't be by much. Grace is still really good and even better if you picked up Burnice. Logically speaking for account power it's better save for dps/anomaly characters of elements you don't have covered. The problem is every new character is going to be hyped to must have levels while everyone faults you for not having them. Reality is funds are limited so gotta be picky about who you really want and who you need.

skip burnice saving for idol ice support but playing and realising Von Lycaon(m1 and weapon B rank maxed daze) s****... uhm slow stun, soukaku(m6s2) take too much time to get the buff to max potentiel but still good i'm definitly taking lighter(saw in leak that he should stun fast like koleda and buff ice and fire damage) and after taking ice support if i lose the 50/50 or not

New player here. I just got to IK 50 and I am in desperate need of a DPS. My current team is Caesar-Lucy-Piper and they have hard carried me all through out. I initially wanted Burnice but I just lost my 50-50 to Rina. I'll take this as a sign that despite Burnice being waifu material, I am not destined for her. I also dont have the agents that can support her for a second team for Shiyu. As such, I decided to back off and go for Yanagi who seems to have some synergy with Rina. After that, the rest goes to the Miyabi fund.

Right now I'm guaranteed my next limited 5* which will be Yanagi for me. I got good coverage with elements and I wanted to skip Burnice anyway (will go for her rerun though). After Yanagi it's Miyabi next for me and I'm waiting for the drip marketing around the time the 1.3 stream is out. Miyabi is my primary goal since the teaser for the factions. I got enough pulls for Yanagi and then I save up for Miyabi and her W-Engine. After that I'm good with agents. The idol faction is a complete skip for me atm. Also waiting for more Obol Squadron for my Soldier 11.

I'm hoping MiHoYo breaks tradition and puts Lighter first in the 1.3 banner. It makes sense that he should be immediately after Burnice, to complete the SoC faction, the way Jane and Seth did for NEPS. Then I can skip Lighter and save for Yanagi. 😉
