for NG interview, how many leetcode did you do? some people told me to focus on backtracking and tree, dont waste time on DP and graph. some told me different story. what is your experience?

What is hiring looking like at Microsoft Atlanta? Any thoughts on if they'll still build the Westside location? Was thinking of applying there but would rather just go to Redmond if they're not going to stay active in this area.

Hiring (generally) is happening, but it is being done so quite cautiously, and it is pretty much exclusively for Redmond or Atlanta. TBH I don't know if they will build the Westside location. The Atlanta presence (engineers whose listed location is Atlanta) is growing but without a mandated RTO, the office (Atlantic Station) is still pretty empty most of the time, with Tuesdays (and sometimes Thursdays) being the only day where it is more full. Even then it's not even close to full capacity

Totally depends on the team. Even under my skip different teams have different expectations. Seems like most are completely flexible with WFH, but Atlanta teams tend to want people in Atlanta nevertheless. Worth checking this out too: www.levels.fyi/remote/@@willharrison-builds
