2GB RAM is not saleable any more. Both Windows and Ubuntu Desktop now have minimum 4GB RAM requirement. Atom is a bit slow but usable, however Intel purposefully limited its RAM capacity in order to differentiate its higher end cpus, so the useful life of Atom was shortened by a lot. For $150 you can get the core i5-4300y model (venue 11 pro 7139) instead, which has user removable battery as well. I would only recommend the 8GB RAM model of 7139 though. Avoid the 4GB RAM model of 7139 as 4GB RAM is also close to obsolete.

Yes, the one that Microsoft makes.

No, that is not the Dell Active Stylus. It looks to be one of the Adonit disk style stylus' or a clone of one. They are not powered at all but are very precise due to the disk. Since its not powered it does not have palm rejection however the Dell Active Stylus does. If you purchase one of the Dell styluses be sure that you get the later version either revision A01 or A02 as they corrected most of the issues the first version of the stylus had.

@@educatetube Actually, that was not the Dell Active Stylus, I'm a bit late to the discussion but thought I should answer anyway. Both the Intel Atom and i5 versions of the Venue Pro had digitizers that supported palm recognition. I have the i5 version and it still runs well today with either Windows 11 or Linux installs. The i5 version has both TPM and fingerprint readers to keep IT departments happy.

Very bad review and recommendation, this model is rampant with powering up issues. It has a design defect.

I'm not sure of your source however that was not true of all of the Venue Pro's, particularly the i5 variants. The units did have a number of issues at launch that took some ironing out however at this stage, this many years later, those bugs/issues have been well squashed thus your stance no longer applies. How recent is your information?
