One unreplaceble battery one point of failure. You also mentioned the components can be replaced. I take it the replacement is done by the manufacturer in which case you need to send it off if there is a fault. At least with Victron you can order a replacement and get it next day, Both system have good and bad points. Also if you read the spec, the input and output voltage/ampage are limited. I will stick with victron as it may take more space but it easier to expand if and when required and more importantly if a battary fails i can pop to where ever to get a replacement quicker than going through the rigmarole of having to send the whole unit back and being without power for days/weeks.
@urbanarkoverland2 ай бұрын

I'm confused by the solar charging it says it takes 400watts from 50volts at 15 amps. Which suggests that it's totally fine accepting 750 watts of solar power input. Does it automatically handle that if you start cramming in 750 watts, or does it shut off if you exceed 400 watts? Also, there's no mention of UPS functionality. Can this provide uninterrupted power in the event of a power outage (for computer equipment)? (less than 30 ms switchover time after power outage?) It's good to know that you can charge with solar+cigarette socket simultaneously, never considered that one... Can it do AC, cigarette, and solar all simultaneously? Does the cigarette lighter share the 400watt limit with the solar? These are all weird numbers (typical of these systems) Charge rate is 500 - 1000 watts for cigarette socket (How?) charge rate is 750 from mains charge rate is 400 from solar So what is the charge rate? Can you get a 1000+750+400 = 2150 watt charge rate if you use all three simultaneously? 3000 watt output with a max (theoretical) 2150 watt charge rate (that's probably more like 750) so that means that if you were running this thing constantly at full load, you'd have to stop for a few hours to charge it up again... Strange device... How does it actually pull 1000 watts from a cigarette socket without blowing up the wiring in the vehicle? Most vehicles these days cannot even handle a 400 watt continuous drain on the cigarette socket without melting the wiring in the dashboard.

Delta Pro has 3x 12vlt outputs. 1x 12vlt 10amp cigarette socket, 2x 12vlt 3amp DC5521 Barrel outputs and a 12vlt 30amp Anderson output. None of the other Ecoflow Delta or River units have this.. hence why ive been trying to get the delta pro for my van... But now.. after waching your video... this could be a better way for me to go. Thanks

I was very interested in this as i am looking for a 300ah solution for my motorhome. I have specced it on the clayton website and turns out (and this is without a solar panel) it will come to over £8864. Thats for an LPS ll 3000 and a CPG4 Extension battery 100ah (which is confusing as the website says you cannot add extra batteries to the LPS ll 3000). And thats without any installation costs. So, i'm going to get a quote for a Victron installation and see how much that is going to cost using Li Time mini batteries as i'm tight for space. Great video though.

@@urbanarkoverland Yeah, i guess i could but it's still going to be circa £7800 before any discount codeplus installation (that would have to be done by someone else because what i know about electrics you could write on the back of a postage stamp). But ,thats a sizeable fair whack of money. I'm still not sure if a Victron system including installation will work out any dearer. As i mentioned i'm going to have to get an installation cost for a Victron system to see what the most sutable way forward is. I appreciate your Video and your coming back to me. Cheers.
