I quit a week ago and I'm disappointed that the game didn't work out. I have 4 hours to enjoy my night after work. Instead all I get to do is dailies and a few other boring things. It feels like I'm doing chores instead of having fun. At ancestral 10 with +4k gs (perfect stats) I thought I would be sort of relevant at least. But nope. I get one shot by exploiters/ nolifers. That is far too soon (for me) in the game's lifespan to get 1shot and I'm not ok with doing chores for months just to catch up. In the end, I guess it's just not the right type of game for my style anyway. I only want challenging pve & pvp, not interested in anything else like building houses, trade packs, plots and all that.

are you stupid? of course people will be one shot because the game just started and people put resources into their weapons/offensive gems first and not armor/defensive stats.

Yeah there's already people with legendary weapons at max tier Hiram. And I'm struggling to even scrape gold from coin purses witch uses all your labor and you have too wait a couple days to grind again. 10/10 why am I still playing. Makes the private servers look fun again.

I don't have anyone to play with because my friend never tells me when he's online lol. Still fun, wish there was a bit more to do for money other than trade-packs though... Fishing isn't enough money, meanwhile they give you everything you need to start trade-packing efficiently instead of buffing other methods of obtaining gold. Alchemy is cool, but everyone and their moms are doing it because they gave everyone the means of doing it so easily now. Everyone does cooking too. I just wanna fish man... ALSO: Exploits though are dumb as fuck and if you do consciously did the exploit just stop playing the game please. Like, imagine buying a game to play it without pay-2-win elements just to find some fucker exploiting and abusing the ever living shit out of it... That's basically like being gifted CS:GO from a friend and you play with him but fucking hack the game and ruin his rank lol.

theres been like 6, day 1 18 million gold was exploited (every1 got banned), but the ppl that abused other exploits got unbanned after making thousands of gold in a week

I really had high hopes for unchained. It seemed like a real push for the future of AA. After it being so broken, constant per-server downtimes and the stupid ways management is dealing with the exploits, I also regret spending the money. Ill continue having fun on AR, a server that actually gives a shit about fixing issues, and banned players stay banned.

it honestly was the best chance AA had at being a super popular MMO, but its been hit by the same issues previous fresh starts have had and it just verifies that not enough has changed for the game to truly survive and have a thriving population in the following months

You quit because a few people got ahead . Hogwash I say . Only no lifers will be ahead. As far as the dumded down content I don't see it.unchained is brand new it's needs some time to evolve . People need to give it time. Does it have problems sure but I see that there is effort to make this the best version of the game ever. Is it right now maybe not but I still see it having potentional to be the best version

I didn't quit because people got ahead, I quit because my health isn't the best combined with purpling being hard gutted along with other profs and that I don't want to be forced into doing many hours of dailies each day just to remain "relevant". Game seemed more like a second job than the AA I know, so I'd rather just play other games that I know I'm going to have fun playing vs trying to have fun in between hours of dailies. AA:U just isnt ArcheAge, it's a different game

@@MoistCoitus I agree with all you said, i don't have much time to play, I only play for 2 to 5 hours max per day, and most of this time I was spending with what? Dailies... and I just realized that I'm not having fun... this game would be much better if I didn't have so many daily missions... You might even say that you don't have to do all the daily quests, but there are some you have to do! and in the end for those who don't have much time to play just don't have fun. If you're having fun keep going, if you think you're playing more out of obligation than fun, stop! Sorry for my english.

I'm wing lvl 5 have a gear score of over 4k and only play 2-5 hours a day during the week . Also took last 9 days off so when I get back it will still be where I left off. I don't feel irrelevant I'm used to fighting 10k + gear score from the f2p version with 4k gear so this is like a breather of fresh air to me. Now people can't open there wallets to get ahead of me only there time knowledge and dedication can

Hmm as a new player I dont get it I do daily's maybe 3 times a week I'm at 4.9k gs. I play maybe 3 to 6 hours a day . I can agree the purpling up system is dumb. But these exploits ppl seem mad that they didnt get to do them is alll. I under stand ppl have 7k 8k gs now, but lets be honest every game has the try hards. Plus exploits on in game mistakes is honestly not the players fault. And banning ppl to cover up they fucked up ain't a good look either. As for the whole buying gold from websites is this your first mmo? Shit these days even casual players sell and buy gold to websites its apart of mmos. Not saying it's a good thing, but someone's always gonna figure away to cheat or exploit or whatever in every game.
