i think the biggest issue by far with pvp is just that it's way too sweaty, but maybe that just kind of comes with the games age. way back in the day you could join pvp with bad gear, a bad deck, no idea what you're doing, and still do decent because there were tons of other noobs just like you doing the exact same thing. i know for a fact in age 1 of pvp i was a complete noob with trash gear and i can still see my winrate was 50/50. nowadays every single person has the best gear, knows what they're doing, all the best rare tcs, etc. so if you're not a complete tryhard who has spent countless hours preparing for pvp then you're going to get crushed every match. there's just such an incredibly high barrier to entry now that it's hard to get into.

I used to do pvp and stopped as well, them killing tourneys and roshambo really killed it for me.

Oh yeah well p101 PvP doesn’t die every update, cause uh the updates take like 6 years buttt it doesn’t change

Not even surprised. I stopped playing since the introduction to Rhoshambo since I knew it would lead to this.

I was interested in PVP but I quickly learned it was not for me. I saw people bragging in my guild about how many Myth Banshees TCs they got for PVP. I did some research, found out they are only obtainable through a pack. At that point I said, this is not for me.

I would come back to Wizard if they made a non ranked PVP mode. PVP was endgame for me for years. I took a few years off cause of life. I came back with, but left due to how competitive PVP is - there is no chance to learn (let alone being new and being able to care about rank). The amount of grind or p2w coupled with the merciless matches just made it not fun.

@@Gaiusnerva are you trying to say Pirates? Cause I love Pirates. I don’t play anymore largely because the paywall comes too soon so anyone you introduce to the game isn’t willing to invest because they don’t get a chance to experience a majority of features. Also any game that is virtually in maintenance mode and only gets scraps form Wizards is a hard sell. Devs put any real work into Pirates and I would happily come back. Haha but that’s an entire different rant for a different video which I’ve definitely commented on haha

Lol pluto i just posted a video with same title and i have a clear video proof of why i quit pvp. It said my opponent died but it gave him the win. It was ranked, i was furious

I just wished the end game wasn’t to pvp and there was something else. Pvp needs an overhaul and I believe it takes way to long for updates to happen like certain things have much higher win cons than others. I also think the pvp community is too toxic and Ki should enforce their rules stricter (No one got punished for Fire shark pet and gravestorm exploit)
