I hope you feel proud of all of the work, content and videos you did the last two years! You created so many fun, informative & joyful videos that I know helped, encouraged and educated so many people. So happy that you’re now working your dream job and doing what feels right and is best for you! 🖤

I love your attitude and sense of humour. I hope you continue to go back to pole, and consider perhaps just giving us an overview of the journey, even without demos. I just love hearing from you, and your commentary is so colourful that I look forward to the smiles you bring. But I want you happy, and healthy, and sharing only what and when you want. Be well, and I will hope you are able to share in future. And thank you for having shared so much.

You did not disappoint us, u are respecting yourself and your needs. And I'm happy for you because of that, I really like your content but the most important part of that was because you were genuine on them. And forcing the make of new videos without wantings would bleed into making them not as fun. Take care ❤❤❤❤

Oh Kelsey 😢 I'm so sorry you've been feeling this way, and it makes me so mad that the shit people have said awful untrue things with the sole intention of hurting. I've only just discovered your content as I'm at the beginning of my 'pole jouney', but I find you so relatable, realistic and determined which is what I very much needed. So, thank you so much for the content you have created. It's helped me already and will continue to I'm sure. Don't feel like you are disappointing anyone. You owe your audience nothing. You owe yourself everything. So take care and I'll look forward to some stray videos from time to time whilst binging your back catalogue 😂 ❤

I was just thinking about you a few days ago. I totally get your perspective. I experienced something similar in 2020. I also haven’t touched the pole since March and I feel kind of bad. What started out as time to recover from a non pole injury became a sabbatical in a sense. And knowing that I’ll have to “ start over “ has created resistance as well. Creatives don’t have to monetize every freaking thing we do or enjoy. Do what you gotta do to take care of you !!! We will still continue to support you in whatever way you decide to show up. And screw the trolls they are insecure and miserable and wish they had the guts to show up in an authentic way online. Plus there are those men whose self esteem is temporarily boosted after projecting rejection towards women. Xoxoxoxo

The sentence about monetizing everything we do... right there, that's it!! It really drains the fun out of creation!

Congrats on your dream job and all best wishes for your future in life and pole! I have really enjoyed this channel, but you're an artist, not an AI that can keep producing variations on the same theme eternally. Sometimes creative projects end (or go on extended hiatus), and that's a good thing. Thank you for sharing your decision to prioritize yourself--that's always an important message.

I'm so sorry you've had this experience with the internet. i've been quietly watching you for some time, being. apole dancer myself. I took time off and had to disengage wiht pole content, i've just come back and come to check. in on you and its so interesting to see that you've also been on a hiatus! I've always found your videos really interesting and genuine, and if oyu just want to post when you feel like posting then thats totally what you should do. I know i'll still watch :)

I just recently found your channel. I find your pole videos not only Educational but entertaining as well. Not to mention inspiring. That being said i understand KZbin dosn't pay for all the work you put into it. When I had my channel it received the worst troll attraction around 1.5k right about where you are. It helps to make your loyal subscribers moderators to help hide and avoided the overwhelming troll comments. Best of luck🍀🐢

That's so interesting that the trolls seem to show up right at that level!

I just subscribed a couple days ago off one of your old vids and then just saw this. F the losers who have have weird or negative things to say or harrass you with >:( hope you can rest from the chaos and find time for your passions, you deserve it! Do what you can

I'm not sure why you were recommended as I don't care much for pole dancing, but loosing a passion just for internet points is sad and not worth it. Especially when it is a healthy passion. I am glad you realized that. Keep at it Kelsey!

I took a break too and it’s been hard to come back as well. Seeing dancers like CamiArboles and Ebebspins advance SO FAR on social media as dancers had be feeling inadequate? Anyway, I also took a break from social media.

I agree-- it's really hard to feel like you're doing "enough" as a pole dancer when everyone seems to be so many steps ahead!

Glad to hear you're doing what is best for you . I really enjoyed your thought provoking ,researched, social commentary videos . To paraphrase an old saying , "We do things for a reason , a season or a lifetime ." If the reason has gone and the season has ended, it is time to move on . I am confident that you will succeed in what you do next .

Thank you for the work that you did put into this channel. I've really enjoyed your videos, but I totally understand your reasons for quitting if you do; I've had mild aspirations to make my own channel the entire time you've had yours up and never done so for all those reasons listed. But it was really cool to get to follow along on your journey; it felt like an exploration the whole time and if this is where that exploration ends that's totally fine. But I do think it's worth mentioning that I think you could go beyond pole content if you wanted to and really thrive if that's where your heart led you. If Kelsey's Pole Journey had a hiccup, maybe it's so Kelsey Hontz could be a thing, who knows! You've certainly got the chops for it imo. I'll be here if you ever want to upload more videos, and in the meantime - best of luck!!!

What's really weird about this video popping up is that only the other day i was wondering how you were getting on. you have certainly inspired me at the beginning of my pole journey. Please know that. I will keep a look out for you. Namaste Kelsey 🙏 😊 💚

I found your videos only a month ago, during your hiatus, as I started learning to dance this summer! I get the feeling of making a hobby into "content" takes the fun out of it, and unfortunately, we're not immune to getting addicted to the rush of attention. But your channel is so much more than just metrics/numbers! A smaller, niche channel can have way more engagement and direct impact than a large one that appeals to the masses (I started rewatching CXG bc of your pole video lmfao) Take care of yourself and do what feels right/good to you - but just know that even if you do scrub your videos off the internet, they have been a source of joy and inspiration for pole rookies like me and many others
