📘 The 8-services You Can Offer in Your Detailing Business: bit.ly/3mDy4Aj

After about 4-6 months of starting my business, I’m growing and considering uping my prices. My details have gotten faster and my equipment has gotten better, going from a Water hose gun attachment with a Harbor Freight foam cannon to a Pressure washer with a legit foam cannon, the list goes on. I realized after using my new set up, I’m shorting myself out by sticking with old prices which match old experience. As I grow and evolve I feel the money has to follow.

Your voice audio is on point bro. I'll listen to a couple other channels struggle to hear what they are saying then one of your videos comes on and your voice is just booming. I gotta turn my speakers down, but thats a good thing!

I remember when it was $25 to get my car detailed. I think pre-Covid. So, during and after Covid, I cleaned my own car. About 3 weeks ago, I stopped by a car wash. And, they quoted me $250. I was shocked, and said my car isn’t even dirty dirty…,😂😂😂. So, I got on KZbin and taught myself how to really clean a car. $250, that’s my car payment. I also can’t find any mobile detailers anymore. Times have changed.

I've been following your channel for a few years now. Love to see your growth, mentally and financially. Great content! I'm currently in the food truck business and I'm considering to do mobile detail with my 3 teenage sons as a side hustle during our off season. Hope your KZbin channel and detail business continue to grow. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences.

That is awesome ladder they used in this video to wash the GMC. Where can a guy buy that the scaffolding ladder?

You're simply creating an adjustable quote that is dependent upon requested services and additional services. I don't consider that to be raising prices. It's formal business terminology.

I watch your videos though it may seem odd to others because I am not a car detailer. I am not a mobile car detailer either. I watch your videos from a business perspective, to gain knowledge on business practices. I am however a pet groomer and I am mobile. I get low ballers as well! Grooming dogs and cats although I love what I do it is still work. And it could be hard work. We all need to charge our worth. People may say I'll just do it myself then. Okay. As a groomer we hear the statement- ...that's more than it cost for my own haircut... Well, a pet groomer is washing, drying, brushing, combing, trimming- the whole body, not just the head of hair, also cleaning ears, trimming nails all while an animal may be wiggly, bitey etc! Nothing is Basic. Quality service - is not cheap.

I’m thinking about $60 per hour for washing a car. You aren’t performing anesthesia or neurosurgery. You are washing a car. Sorry to bring you into reality. Charge $200 for a car wash. Your work load will decrease significantly. You are selling a low expertise service. Soap. Water. Scrub. You are hyping yourself over nothing. You are washing cars making a mediocre living. What else can I help you with?

Where are you located? 25 for a wash? A gas station car wash in CA is 10-20. Gas in CA is 6 bux a gallon. 150 is rt for a wash, interior and a layer of Beadmaker

I have a question I’m new to detailing. What’s the difference between maintenance details and premium wash?
@brian.garcia198 ай бұрын
Maintenance details are re-accruing details , like wash the same car once a month or every two weeks to keep it clean. The premium wash he’s referring to in the video is just a exterior wash and door jambs, hope that helps
@Undefeated0-08 ай бұрын
$3 for soap 12$ for a clay bar. $10 for butter wet wax Done. car shiny.
@Isovapor8 ай бұрын
That’s about $1 per vehicle. $60 for a 1 hour hand wash and interior wipe down and vacuum is more than enough for an uneducated individual to make washing a car. Trained mechanics and welders make $60-80/hr and you are washing a car charging the same amount? Pathetic!

Neighbor went to emergency room for sons ear pain. Found out the son had an ear infection and was released after a few hours. The dad received a bill for $18,000. Surgery must cost $100K+. $500 for a car detail is nothing.

@brian.garcia198 ай бұрын
@@shane10It could be a good way to start growing your business but you can only make so much money with maintenance details bc the idea is to charge a little lower for them to keep servicing their car so if ur fully booked with those you can rlly fit the higher priced jobs , so it depends on what your goal is and how much you want to make
@smgmaxdetailing60108 ай бұрын
I've gotten people who pick the premium wash and vacuum. When I get there, the car is a mess. It needs $400 detail.
