Why I recommend and USE Turtle Wax 1&Done Compound

Picked up about 10 bottles of this here in Australia a few months ago for $8 each. Many auto places were discontinuing for some reason. I found it a bit of a pig to wipe off before using a dampened towel in a weak solution of rinseless wash. I reach for this on most jobs but my favourite one step is Scholl S20 black.

I also found that a damp towel help removal (as well as trying not to use too much at once).

Well said! I love this stuff. I particularly like the gloss this compound leaves - terrific shine properties! One other thing...the Urofiber 50/50 pad is your friend. Shine on you crazy diamond!

I USED to be a firm user of another major brand since the 80's - it's what I was trained with when I worked at a detail shop and got my first taste of REAL detailing. But I always found ALL of their products left a 'greasy' film - especially on black. Then Turtle Wax introduced Hybrid Solutions, which had NONE of that foolishness and wiped CLEAN, every time. If I HAD to pick only two products right now, it would be the 1&Done and The Ceramic/Graphene Paste Wax. Fortunately, I don't have to make that choice, I can use them all with excellent results.

I’ve used this on cars that needed a little correction. It’s easy just pick the right pad. I’m also hooked on the Hybrid line.

1&Done worked EXCELLENTLY on both the light scratching on my Camaro AND the HEAVY oxidation on my mom's Subaru, using both the rotary and orbital polishers

Using no pads or machinery or power tools. Doing all by hand. Wash and clean your vehicle in shaded area, use fine clay bar synthetic cloth or sponges to decontaminate and use suddsy car wash soap and Adams Detail spray to lube while decon. Never allow surface to become dry, keep it moist all times when clay bar. Rinse off the car and dry. Use TW 1 & Done, one panel at a time like you are waxing it, let it slightly haze and buff with microfiber towel. Wipe off access TW 1 and Done. Use Meguiars Synthetic Sealant or any sealant of your choice. Next to last, use TW Ceramic Acrylic Black Wax and Polish, followed by TW Jet Black Detailer spray. Just like a black shoe shine you need to spit to bring out the shine. You would be surprised how much human saliva enhances the things you do. If you have a runny nose, nothing wrong with nasal drip.

I'm for the most part, strictly Turtle Wax. So once you have done the correction with the One & Done, I prefer The Graphene Flex Wax for my protective layer. There is also the Ceramic Spray Coating, To The Max Wax or the Ceramic/Graphene Paste Wax. But it Doesn't have to be Turtle Wax. Any good NON-Abrasive Wax or sealant will get the job done. But like I said, I'm more familiar with the Turtle Wax products.
