Why I regret selling my Harley Davidson low rider s

I will admit I’ve watched you less since you got rid of the Low Rider. You were one of the inspirations for me to get that particular bike. That being said, I can’t ride it more than 400-500 miles a day. I don’t have a fairing and after a while you just get worn out, either from the cold or the wind or everything. If I were to do it again, I would’ve gone Low Rider ST. I’ll be trading my bike in for a Road Glide variant. You have a good channel man, keep it short and sweet.

I’ve had 3-4 bikes in the garage for the last decade, currently at 1. Only things I’ve regretted in life are selling guns and motorcycles, everything else can be replaced.

The Softails and Dynas are the sweet spot for Harleys. Fun to whip around town, ride in the mountains all day, or throw the ole lady and some saddlebags on the back and go. I've got the Fat Bob, very similar to the Low Rider, and I knew when I bought it in 2019 It was capable of all that and I was going to own it forever.

You were actually one of the deciding factors of buying mine last April. I'd never even consider selling mine, dressed it up with an FXRT fairing and I love it as my third bike.

I feel you on that definitely! I have 2 Harleys a 2018 ultra Limited that I bought use and a 2016 soft slim S that I bought new.. It feels good when I ride the limited then I jump on to my slim S What a difference. My Slim is now 8 years old and it still put a big smile on my face every time I go for a ride. 🤘🏼😎 But if you can do it get another Lowrider S! A little bit of everything videos is cool and thanks for taking the time to make these videos bro!! 👊🏼

Ha!!That's funny,exactly my thoughts.I usually have 2 bikes.Normally a ultra and what started out as Buells,then went to limiteds and Softails.Then,I thought I would consolidate last Fall.I traded my 22 Limited and 22 lowrider S for a Streetglide Special.Winter isn't even over yet here in Maine and I knew I was going to miss the lowrider,so I bought that one back!

I still have mine and you were the inspiration in getting it as my first bike. I didn't customize my Low Rider S the same as yours but there are some similar things. I have got my eye on the CVO ST, and I am considering trading it in for that. I know they'll undervalue it, and I'll have to pay out of the ass for the CVO, but I do want to do some longer rides and thats a badass bike. I am not sure what to do and how much i'll regret trading it in.

Sell it! Do not trade your bike in unless the deal is legit. The only saving grace to trading is the tax savings, but they usually devalue to a point of making it a wash. You’ll regret it either way.

I always feel like things are meant to happen for a reason. You sold it because it felt right at the time and who knows where that'll take you in terms of bikes in the future. Sure you might end up getting it again, or you'll fall in love with something else. Life's all about different experiences. That being said I do love my Low Rider S, it's my first bike after passing my test at 40 last year. I'm surrounded by british countryside with narrow lanes and tiny roundabouts so a big bagger doesn't suit me at the moment. But I love the look of the Road Glide ST.

I prefer videos where you ride and tell stories about motorcycles but also the life that goes with them. Otherwise I really like your road Glide, but it's a too heavy bike for me, at 64 years old I don't plan to get a Touring again. I'm currently riding a 2020 Low Rider S and I have to say that this bike really thrills me, I love the way it rides and the spirit that it exudes. I also really like seeing videos with the Low Rider S or ST, I think they're great and I think you should pick one up again, it's so much fun to ride. Maybe in the future I would take an ST because I love having rigid saddlebags on my motorcycles. Greetings from France...

I definitely like the Low Rider S and ST a lot. So, I absolutely get what you are saying. That power to weight ratio is a sweet spot plus you still have all the upgradeability. I like a mix of the riding and talking abd the shop episodes. Definitely like seeing both. I would love to see a softail on the channel. I personally think the Low Rider ST and RG CVO ST are the two best bikes Harley makes and I pretty much wish I would have followed my first instinct and bought the LRST over the Sportster S despite how much I enjoy that bike.

My journey mirrors yours- it's not an uncommon progression Sportster-->Softail-->Touring. I'm excited to see where you take this journey next, because you've done it with pinache so far.

I got a 2016 dyna low rider and I feel like that’s such a perfect bike to ride around the city and take to some twist and turns and road glide street glide are nice for trips so at least two bikes should be a must in my book lol

I’ve fallin’ in love with the RG CVO ST. I have to have it. I’m gonna have it. I have my ‘22 Fat Bob. It’s my baby. It’s the bike that brought this sport bike guy to the Harley world. I’m not getting rid of it, much to my wife’s surprise. That ST will be parked next to my Fat Bob.

I had two bikes for a while. (road glide and an M109R - but when I bought my road glide i found I started using that for most everything.. 2nd year of having two bike I used the M109r just a couple of time that year ., the convenience of having bags, Music and a fairing made me choose that bike most of the time. No need to pay insurance for a bike that i only will use a couple of times a year. Ins. in NYC is expensive comparatively. Almost bought a low rider ST as a 2nd bike just last week but knew i would be in the same boat.. So i got a 23 CVO instead. And liiving in NYC i dont get to ride all year,.. If i live further south (warmer weather,) than I would definitely have 2.

My low rider s is a keeper for life but there’s always one buddy that gets away. Maybe buy another and see if you can trade it with the guy that has yours. I miss my old 06 ZX10r in sliver the one I’m always thinking about it. I found mine on eBay once but whoever had it unfortunately had come off it and all the fairings were damaged.

1st I just bought a 2023 lowrider S so hell Yes I want you to produce more lowrider s content. If you could get the old one back that would be cool, but even starting with a fresh one would be cool because you might put a different spin on it. As far as type of content I do like the Moto V log type but I like all the other types too. So I guess I'm one of those a little bit of everything guys.
