Thank you for buying ethically farmed eggs. A lot of people don't care/think about it. I would never buy cage eggs, plus I think they taste better and have more nutrients anyway! The cost isn't 4 times as much here either so it's worth it to spend a bit more. Actually I think our major supermarkets (in Australia) are phasing out cage eggs so people won't be able to buy them anyway soon. So good

I agree about the eggs! I've been buying eggs that are from local chickens and they taste better and look happier. (The yolks are brighter.) It is more expensive, but it was worth it for me. (No judgement on people that cannot do that)

Go to Vancouver on a weekday! All the hikes and beaches will be much less busy. Also, there's a cool pool with diving boards up to 10 m high at the Vancouver aquatic centre.

1. I feel the same way about pasture raised eggs, act technically can afford it but it hurts every time to pay almost $10 for a dozen eggs. It's such a shame that we have to pay a premium for things that were standard like 50 years ago. 2. I would so love it if you would visit Vancouver for us! It was on my bucket list for this year but it looks like I'm going to Europe instead. I almost wish wish I had booked the trip to Vancouver for the summer it just looks so beautiful

Your groceries are almost identical to mine. I always get the pasture raised eggs cause they are happier and they have way more omega 3s Those beyond burgers are so nice and easy. Way to us the amnenities. love Vancouver, that suspension bridge park there is so nice. Vic is so pretty too. Are those the Olympic mountains in the background 💕? Ya know..A nice semi intense hike on the edge of the Olympics is the Mount Elenor trail hike. It’s like maybe 5 or 6 hours to the top and you get perfect views of mount Olympus, the ocean, puget sound country and Rainer. It’s a bit of a commitment but it can all be done in a day if you get up there by like 10. I’ve done it twice in like skate shoes with just a water bottle and trail mix. Not too too hard. Totally worth it.
