Indeed, the end is certain, and we can’t predict the timing.

For sure... some people are over internalized in that when the "professional money gurus" tell them they need X amount of dollars they will work 80 hours a week and wait until 68 to hit that targeted amount.... only to die 3 years later. I really took the experience of my 4 closest friends as a sign and it sadden me terribly that they died so young.

Thank you for sharing your story Mark, I retired early at 61, I sold everything and moved my Filipina and two little ones to the Philippines and lived on savings till my Social Security started, with my wife and two kids as dependent children and my wife receiving child in care benefits it was a no brainer to retire early. We built a house in Pampanga and I'm very happy here living here on half of the SS benefit we receive. Let me pass on the best advice I got, open a Charles Schwab checking account with a debit card, I transfer funds from my BOA account to fund it and withdraw at any ATM here and all fee's are refunded monthly. I get all my budget free of fee's.

thanks... Its very inspiring when we (youtubers) get such positive reviews. Yes, I hope all who see this will look into getting the Schwab account, I was reimbursed $48 dollars last month in ATM fees... hey, when you're on SS, $48 dollars is nice to save. Steer some friends to the video... :)... need some watch hours to start making money on this thing... so far $0 :)

@@marksWayPhilippines I bought another car and a 500sqm lot behind us so I got refunded over $300 every month the last several months, transfered funds for zero dollars! It takes some time and effort at P50,000 limit per day but it's free, also I should mention you get the full up to the minute exchange rate, unlike at the bank or money changer where they take at least .50 centavos per dollar for the exchange fee.

I live in Cebu and have no problems getting out large amounts of money from my BDO account

same for me.... I haven't figured out why some do have problems with money and most don't. I just keep my money in the US, so far no problems withdrawing it out of ATM
