For all those people who are considering his piece of advice. 1)Tigor BS6 facelift has been launched which looks absolutely stunning. 2)Tigor is the safest sedan in India as of now with 4 star rating by Global NCAP. 3)Top Model of Tigor goes for around 8 lakhs. Amaze/Aspire with a better engine goes fot 9.5 lakhs. 1.5 Lakhs for an engine upgrade seems a bit too much considering you'll not even get the top model. 4) The NVH levels of Tigor BS6 has been greatly reduced. Almost all the complaints including burning smell due to ECU problem has been resolved in the BS6 Tigor. 5) The BS6 engine of Tigor is much more refined than the previous Tigor. All in all, if you want to buy Tigor I would recommend you to take a test drive first and see for yourself. Amaze and Aspire offer better engine refinement. But the difference should matter for performance enthusiasts and not those who are looking for a budget sedan with style, elegance and mileage.

I feel still Tigor is vfm. When you said to go for amaze 1st n aspire 2nd, kindly note that amaze petrol top end cost 9+ lakh n aspire close to 9 lakh where as Tigor cost around 8 lakh now. After Market touch screen system n factory fitted system make world of difference. I guess I will still recommend to go for Tigor as other two cars are costlier by 1 -1.5 lakh. Also service cost is high for Honda followed by Ford.

Thanks for writing so long. Actaully where buyer have take rosk of tata's service quality, engine which shows load of AC, and produce burning smell on 100kmph or above. 1 lac price difference is OK. There are few minor flaws of 3 cylinder engine. But in cheaper price it is ok. Now tigor prices will increase again. So its video for new buyers

I am myself Tigor xz+ buyer n I find no manufacturers in India give features what Tigor offers. Haven't faced issue of petrol burnt smell as you said. Every car's performance become little lethargic when AC turns on and I found Tigor engine's performance is ok for new buyer. Now a days new buyers even spent close to 10 lakh, in that case I don't find Tigor is that costly. I am amazed that how people are buying car like Amaze which looks so ugly, rectangular design and keep vouching for brand HONDA which is no more which it was 10 - 15 years ago. Aspire looks like another common sedan with no uniqueness. We don't know what will happen to ford in future. I also recommend TATA TIGOR if anyone have budget of 8 lakh.

@@suryateja3972 if you want feature rich vfm car go with Tigor xz+ eyes closed. If you want good mileage/ smooth engine go with dzire. But note that you have to compromise on safety when you go with dzire. With Tigor, i vouch for its built quality, excellent music system.

Thank you Sir. Engine is the heart. How company will manage ? Everything is outsourced except Body. Amaze is for city usage and Aspire is for highway. Build quality is important. Not style.. Amaze has lower ground clearance and touch the ground easily. Maintance is little more.

tata is working from 0, the company will demerge from commercial vehicle as pure automobile company. jlr products are stunning, technically jlr and tata are holding same features as audi and indian vw. only match for standards of tata in sub 10 lakh is vw. hold on actual cost of tigor should be 10+ and nexon15+ harrier 30+. this is discount you get in first few year of business. 3 cylinder is the future of remaining gasoline car for future. and ford aspire lovers, go and replace your knees 3 years later. shamelessly in showroom they love their rock hard clutch. third class cutch conparable to bolero pick up and new amaze, just hit a 1 inch stone on body you will love it. its not jazz, its a soft softy car

Well said brother. Tigor is not a value for money anymore with its rising price and low quality interior compared to Amaze. I was almost decided for Tigor but took a test drive of Amaze and I fell in love with the car. I also took test drive of Aspire which was not that good. So finally I bought Amaze Petrol VMT for almost same price of Tigor XZ plus with much better engine,Interior quality and push button start. I got Rs.30000/- show room discount for Amaze. Tata dealers were not ready to give even Rs.5000/- discount even though Tigor sales hit rock bottom against Amaze. Now I am extremely happy with Amaze. It also got 4 star global ncap crash test score. Thank you so much for the video. Amaze is the best car in its segment.

Honda ka maintenance bahut high hai... Tigor ka service costs bahut cheap hai bhai... and one more thing that is important is comfort... Tigor is fantastic in terms of comfort.. long drives ke liye Tiago aur Tigor bahut zyada achchi hai... I doubt rear seat comfort doosri koi gaadi mein itna achchha hai... engine powerful hai Tigor aur Tiago mein, but fuel economy increase karne ke liye Tata ne stroke length increase kiya hai... isiliye initial pickup mein thodi si kami mehsoos hoti hai, but Tigor and Tiago are pocket friendly in the long run...

@@AutoTalks but the cost of ownership should also be taken into consideration while purchasing a car. It is like Honda bikes. They are among the most expensive in their segments while buying them because of their supreme quality. But their costs of ownership/maintenance costs are far lower than other Japanese and European brands of motorcycles, again because of their supreme quality and reliability. You hardly ever need to replace anything in Honda motorcycles. The same goes for Tata cars. Since Tata is delivering very good quality products, you can be sure that the cost of ownership will remain low even though the initial procurement cost may have increased. I have personally done 22000 km in just 1.5 years in my Tiago, and it has never disappointed me either in terms of highway performance, ownership costs, acceleration (in city mode), fuel efficiency, reliability, braking, high speed stability, etc etc. I have done Bangalore to Nagpur via Hyderabad (1100 km non stop) in 19 hours through good and bad roads, and the car never faltered for once. I got a fuel efficiency of about 21 kmpl. I do not think any other car with a 1.2 litre petrol engine gives you these efficiency figures. And the biggest thing is, the Tiago has fantastic suspension. I was able to do 1100 km non stop because of the suspension as well. I have paid Rs. 1630 in my 3rd service (15000 km, engine oil changed, no AMC of any kind). A Honda or a Hyundai or even a Maruti for that sake will cost you something between 3000 to 5000 bucks - so basically they charge you like crazy for their periodic services. So, we should not just look at the procurement cost while buying a vehicle. Rather we also need to be sure that we wil not grumble whenever we have to pay the bill for the car service as well. So I would request you to make a video on maintenance costs of cars as well. P.S.- Ford cars are cheap to maintain, so Ford can be considered when buying a car. But then I fear Ford does not turn out to be another Chevrolet!

I have to say about Tata motors ― 1) Poor after sales service 2) Fraud dealers 3) Tata motors management is irresponsible to it's customers. 4) Poor fit and finish 5) Lack of features, specially in tigor.They have no will to incorporate all those features that competitors are providing in their sub 4 meter compact sedans. 6) Nonsense feature distribution among variants. 7) Too noisy AC blower 8)Less refined engines in comparison to others. 9) No reliability on its cars. 10) Lack of many engine options 11) They increase prices as soon any of it's car model starts becoming successful. 12) Management has no idea what customers want in a car and how to attract customers. 13) Management has no idea how much their reputation has been eroded or what to do to erase it's bad reputation. Management looks to be in self praise mode.

I have been driving my stylish Tata tigor Xe diesel for the last three years, it's really comfortable to drive for long distances, I really praise Tata that has made tremendous change in terms of its suspension and mileage, it's good deal whereas amaze petrol is concerned, I heard from my friend who bought and sold within six months because of its mileage, at this stage I m much satisfied with my style back though tata has stopped manufacturing diesel engine......

Tata strategy is to offer one car in each segment. Tiago in hatchback, altroz in premium hatch back, tigor in compact sedan, micro suv will be hbx, nexon in compact suv, hexa and safari in full suv. As of now tata is not seen testing any compact sedan vehicle. Recently tigor has had a facelift. So i feel its ok to go for tigor. It might introduce a premium sedan vehicle in future.

I am looking only for Automatic and confused between Tigor and Amaze but let me tell you the exact quotation I got couple of days before: Amaze VX CVT (top-end) --> 10.65L (ex-showroom: 8,75000) Tata Tigor XZA+ (Top-end). --> 9.26L. (ex-showroom: 7,49000) There is a difference of 1.2 L Rs approx. The main difference for me seems to be only the transmission and the interiors. I personally liked the interiors of Amaze more and also the CVT transmission is best at the price point, somehow still not able to cope up with AMT jerks which is offered in Tigor. Anyone here could share some information on Tigor AMT or Amaze petrol CVT on their experience (specially in hilly areas) , would be really helpful.

I recently bought automatic last week... petrol engine totally unrefined,,,, sluggish gear box.. steering rattling sound. I complaint Dealer they said they will change steering column by 1st servicing... car build quality ok but tata leaves something uncomplete.... totally regret

Gearbox issue is because of being AMT as it is cheap. Tigor automatic has excellent power, use Sports mode.

@@MonishMajumdar as of price and comfort level it's a great car.. but worst thing is I'm using this car I northeast arunachal Pradesh '' my driving is in hilly road.... I don't recommend anyone to buy AT in hilly areas... and the worst part is due to rattling sounds from steering to a new car it seems weird by Tata..... no one can imagine a fault car after buying it by hard earned money.... but tatas engineers seems faddu... I also faced central locking problems by rear doors.... by next day they cleared but I'm really disappointed by Tata....

Bought tigor petrol xz+ at 7.29 lakhs with all accessories..I don't think it's costly as compared to Amaze which is way too costlier. Aspire is not as stylish and again costlier. Also Ford has stopped it's independent operation in India.
