Why I Shaved Off My Long Hair

I had been growing my hair out for 1 year and 4 months and I really the challenge and having a new look. However, my hair growth journey came to an abrupt end one Monday afternoon so I thought it was only right to make a video talking about why I shaved off my long hair.

Im only 19 and I grew my hair out at the end of school and had it for 1.5 years, I basically always wore it in a manbun all day everyday, which was great and I loved the style but honestly, I just got bored of having to tie it up every time and I never really wore it down, so I cut it all off and got a short disconnected undercut midway this year and I gotta say its so much easier and manageable, so I could relate a lot this video and Im only young so I still can grow it out in another couple of years if I want to

I can relate to this SO MUCH. For 12 months I didn't cut my hair. At the end of the year I was feeling ugly, I just didn't. I had eczema on my head and no product would make me not itchy. So I cut my hair. I am so happy with the progress and my skin is much better, like if it could breath. I relate to EVERYTHING you said.

It's been almost 2 years that i've been growing my hair, and its frustrating, soo many awkward stages and now my hair looks cool but I still want to cut it off. It was only medium length and not long because it was only past your chin and not shoulder length. 1:47 But it was really close though because of how far it goes down past your chin snd close to your shoulders in the front.

I usually always went for an undercut but my last haircut was horrible and I hated it so eventually instead of going to fix it and spend more money for the same haircut I just decided to grow it out because i wanted something different . So far it's been great and I love how different I look with longer hair so I'm going to be keeping it long for a while probably until I too get bored eventually

I had that long hair.. shaved them because of excessive hairfall... will grow again... management was never a problem for me... Both styles suit you and at the end of the day it’s hair! You can grow it back whenever you want. I grew out my hair two years ago and when I got sick of it I also did a buzz and loved it. Currently, im growing it out again and I just passed the year mark

Thanks for the video Harry. I've had my hair growing out since last fall and once it was long I realize that I don't recognize myself, so your point really resonates with me. Three weeks ago I woke up, without thinking much about it Igot myself a good pair of Wahl's and just shaved it all off and I've been so happy ever since. Since my hair has been short I've been experimenting with fading the sides to make them more in line with my hairline and head shape and I think I'm getting better at it. Do you have a few tricks up your sleeve? A video about this would be great because I can imagine myself cutting my own hair for the foreseeable future (post-pandemic). Back then your videos have helped me to get through the awkward-phase of growing out my hair and now it is refreshing to see that you've also cut your hair. Looks great!

I’ve been growing my hair since start of 2020 and I started growing it wrong, I had a little bit of a top knot so it just kept bothering me how it was always long on top and short on the sides, the sides are finally getting long to the point where I can almost tie everything just the back needs to grow a little more, at times I think should I just cut if because ppl think it looks nice short but a lot of ppl like it long cause I wear it down sometimes, just gonna stick it through and I recommend if anybody has that problem to stick it through, btw you looked nice with long hair man, suited you
