The problem is, is that life can send us to difficult places e.g. failure, health issues. Its at those times we, doubt our inner guide as we expect it to always take us to the jackpot

I understand, I spent about a year of my life feeling as if my inner guide and the universe overall had abandoned me due to all the suffering I was experiencing. Only to realize that neither had ever abandoned me. That they were actually always right with me and the suffering was also leading me where I needed to go, most likely more quickly and easily than not suffering would have. I know this can be such a hard concept when it comes to health issues and tragedy though. And I'm always here to discuss these things❤
