seeing you pounding mochi in the intro: woah! he's going to make a usu learning later you lived in japan: wait so you're japanese??? This is a great passion project. wishing you the best. stone masonry is a waning craft and seeing it in this day and age is always charming

you are an inspiration, I'm glad to have found this channel. when I get together with friends I rarely get to see, I take out my takoyaki grill and make takoyaki for all of us. takoyaki parties are good too, but nothing can beat pounding mochi

A fun little stone masonry project you could do would be building a little stone fireplace of drystone masonry you cut and set yourself to do backyard fires and outdoor cooking with your friends.

Im the person that spends way too much time planning to the point that i get fed up with it and just kinda send it. Then i either absolutely crush it or end up questioning ym life choices at 2 in the morning.
@dogsarebest7107Күн бұрын
Yeah.. There's several terms for it. I am cursed by it. I am cursed with "Yak Shaving", and with a side helping of "BIKE SHEDDING". Oh, and a sprinkling of "Gold Plating", and a nice dollop of "Analysis Paralysis" for garnish. Look up those terms, when I found out it was an actual thing, and not just a symptom of my insanity, it felt good to have validation. Going through life thinking everyone else just does projects, but when you go to do something, it ends up taking 50 steps, and 3/4 of them aren't even part of the project, but still have to be done. When I found out it wasn't just me, I definitely felt a lot better. And you know how it is, once you have words to explain something, and understand it, you can take steps to minimize it's painful curse. Finding those terms and understanding it, definitely made my ability to do things turbocharged. It definitely helped me draw a line in the sand to at least be able to decide whether to send it, or spend more time researching and planning. And that alone is worth it's weight in gold and half the damn battle! Hope that you looking these terms up, helps you even a tiny bit as much as it helped me!
