I speak French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Now I am learning Russian, Japanese, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, and a little Cebuano (language of southern Philippines). I sort of know it is crazy to learn so many languages at once and I sometimes get them mixed up. But it kind of works for me. I use the Pimsleur app and go for a daily 2 hour walk in the park and do 15 minutes per language usually. I would get bored staying with the same language, so I keep switching languages. I plan on doing this for a while, then do more language exchanges and maybe online tutors. We'll see how it goes.

I am currently learning Korean, Japanese and Chinese at the same time. My decision to add Japanese along with Korean. Came from me watching my favorite Japanese movie (Coffee and Vanilla), one Saturday morning. And I said to myself, let’s learn Japanese and started learning Japanese in October 2020. Then after a year studying Japanese and almost two and half years studying Korean. On October 2021, I added Chinese to my language journey. Since October seems to be my language month for adding new languages, I will probably add French or Spanish.

I love it when people who are into languages say "Oh, I started x because I felt like it". I hate it when people who are not into languages come along and say things like "Why are you learning a language that is not useful? You should learn Chinese, because China is going to be so important economically!" So what, I'm not working in any field related to economics, and the languages I study are none of your business.

Wow, I've just started Spanish. I decided to study English and Spanish simultaneously. This video is needed. Now, I don't take Spanish seriously, but hopefully, someday I will take it seriously like you. Thank you for making this video.

Do you ever follow Steve Kaufmann? Or did you ever follow Moses McCormick? If you ever find yourself getting discouraged with language learning, keep these two in mind. And good luck with your studies. Hopefully you'll be able to travel to some other countries soon & put your language skills to the test 🙂.
