Honestly this kind of content is not what i would normally reach for, as I do tend to be more left- leaning. But I can appreciate a different perspective when it's communicated thoughtfully and respectfully, so I'm looking forward to challenging many of my own opinions through some of your conversations here. And i just have to say, as an American hearing you mention TAFE, all i can envision is Kath and Kim so I'm loving this already!

But I definitely completely disagree with his worldview, the purpose of platforming him is to understand why he thinks the way he does.. and try to come to some mutual understanding 🤙

There's actual police reports mentioned about the abuse. Look, do you really think media would make up such a detailed complaint? With two people coming forward, there's others as well who have been abused by this guy. He's got a long history of this. Use some logic here, if this was just media persecuting a christian, why are no other christians in NZ being reported on like Lincoln........do the math. @@melodyrachel

@@melodyrachel you were right to point out that he seems to focus too much on sexual promiscuity. Yeah, I agree that it's wrong but he's really fixated on it. Dangerously fixated on it. He's not as squeaky clean as he makes out to be. Remember what he said about being heart broken if he was a father, if his daughter slept around? There's a balance between being a good caring father who is sincere about wanting to keep his daughter safe from harm and a daugter understanding that he only wants the best for her. You noticing him to focus too much on sexual promiscuity and not on sin in general is you noticing a red flag about him. This comes out in the story of his fiance from the news article. I personally know him, and gave him the benefit of the doubt but he abused my kindness and then I found out that he's ruffled an awful lot of feathers.
