If slimmer faces are more attractive, then what are we doing filling faces with dermal filler? Dr. Gavin Chan explains.

well its not about opinion its about taste and what you find attractive. I completely agree and would never do anything to my face even though i dont like everything about it. There will always be a select group that want that look, but the majority do not. I’m baffled by some celebrities that go over board. I’m so happy for you!!! And so grateful that you can recognize your own natural self as beautiful simply for getting dental/orthodontic care rather than doing something artificial. I struggle with my body, I’m about to be 25 but I’m still shaped like a stick bug. Can’t gain weight or curves and in this culture I’m sure it’s easy to tell why that makes me insecure. I saved up money for a BBL for 8 months but chickened out of my consult because I had this voice in the back of my head saying I would feel worse or just as bad if I did something fake instead of trying to eat and work out to achieve the look I want. But also I shouldn’t care so much about it. Anyways!!! I’m happy for you 💕💕💕
@MarksMan1o1
@MarksMan1o1 Жыл бұрын
@@kwizatzhannahrach your face looks feminine so you likely have the hormones/genetics for a curvy figure. If you're shaped like a stick, It's likely due to a lack of muscle/body fat not genetics. I'd recommend you focus on gaining lower body muscle mass, through exercises like weighted squats, and see if that makes a difference before you try surgery.

Aly Art made an interesting observation: that when the human body has infection, it becomes inflamed and puffy in the affected area. So even when someone has fairly subtle fillers, we still get that "uncanny valley" feeling, because we, on an almost subliminal level, will recognise the puffiness as sickness.

I’m glad you mentioned “transitions“ of the face. I lost a lot of weight very quickly during and after quarantine. I’ve always had big protruding eyes, and the loss of fat has my eyes casting crazy tear trough shadows that make me look tired and 10+ years older. After a lot of research, I believe I’m dealing with a mid face deficiency that I would love to have corrected with light cheek fillers. Thanks for all of your videos.

Bless this man - He's good enough to tell us. In years to come, this can cause problems with the nerves in the face, paralysis of one side or one part of the face, and other horrible things. WHY risk it. If we're not gorgeous - So what?? MOST of the world isn't - Build up your personality, not your FACE - Be comfortable in the skin you're in - It was meant for Yoooo!! How many people do we know who have a pretty/handsome face but are such a put off - Personality comes through!! Kind, caring, funny, good natured all these make up for good looks, any day!! Also, when we're young we don't realize how good looking we are. Save a picture you don't like and look at it when you age - You'll see what I mean. This filler stuff is nuts - UNnecessary!! Be good to your body, it's the only one you've got, and you need it to last. Hurt it, & it will retaliate - Better believe it!! Fillers - Seriously?? Not worth the risk!! Health is wealth, so work on being well, because that's a blessing!!

@Tamara Charm I mean, the fillers also have side effects. If done incorrectly it can even cause blindness . I think you should do some research on your own and then get at least 2 professional opinions. Just make sure that you can trust the doctor who gives you advice,because some of them will advice you to get the fat injection just because it is more expensive. I am interested in getting it too,but probably not these couple years. I have difficulty concentrating on what you're saying because I'm distracted by how good-looking you are. ;) Seriously though, your channel and content are valuable and I thank you for uploading and having the integrity to share your views and values in public. Thank you Dr Chan. :)

Lisa Bonet is another great example of how even more lovely a face can look when a bit of baby fat is lost. Her cheekbones are incredible. She looks great.

compare teenage Angelina Jolie vs adult Angelina Jolie; she had a baby face but as she got older, her face became more sharp and defined and she looks amazing. this also happened to Margot Robbie.

Buccal fat surgery is really cheap and quick without masses of down time. She might have had that as I know the pics of her when she was young, her cheeks are chubby.
