there are a million other things going on that are much more important than this, but i figured i'd post this for the 1 person who asked about it a few months ago

also - all my friends who are in this video have made me feel loved and like i belong, and I’m beyond grateful for them. just wanted to say this so nobody gets the idea that anyone in this made me feel otherwise, they are all incredible friends and I’m better for having them in my life ❤️

I'm also a type 3 on the enneagram and I 1000% agree with everything you said about attaching your self worth to your work. It's definitely something I've had to work on and I'm glad you're finding success in it yourself! Perfectionism is so crazy and so consuming but just know you're not alone in struggling with it. We'll get through this!

I know how tough it could have been to post this--let alone make it--and I applaud you for doing that. This video provides really great insight on identity in general, and I agree with everything you've said. Thanks for putting this out there. It's helped me a bit and I'm sure it'll do the same for others 👌🏼

i got really in my head about posting this. i actually recorded it back in October and kinda held on since then because i was terrified that nobody would care (or even worse, nobody would connect with what i had to say) but it’s friends like you who remind me that there’s always someone there for me. Thanks for the comment dude

I'm probably 25 years ahead of you but my "backward" understanding is still there that I still need to hear this. Even if I read it before - it works much better for me in that monologue. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, jack this video was absolutely incredible thank you for sharing and it takes a lot of courage to do something like this. It was amazing! I loved what you said about perfection. I DM you on Instagram a while ago about that, I remember you gave me some amazing advice. And great news! I got into Dodge College for film production this year! Definitely looking forward to meeting you and to be, possibly even being a future friend! :) Maybe we will make a movie together one day!? Best of luck! Thanks for making this, be you be true and you got this Jack!
