Yea this past weekend I went back to the crew 2 for the first time. I love the new game, but there’s nothing like cruising across the entire nation for a few hours in first person with a play list. It’s almost like forza now and nfs mix. The map is what made the crew different from nfs and forza.

I think motorfest represents a important upgrade to TC2. Yes it lacks features, but what i think happened is Ivory tried to fix its core issues, and with then didn´t have much time to do other stuff. Not to mention that Ubsoft wanted to shut down The Crew if motorfest didn´t sell enough. I think everyone should make sure to support this game, so it leaves a trend for other racing games that need core improvements as well (cof cof forza)

Free weekend with the game plus previously free 5h trial. During trial I was not impressed during the free weekend I completed the play lists and uninstalled. It simply was not super fun for me. Nothing to get back to.

1:46 same. If it wasn't for the map I wouldn't have bought the game or even tried it. They need to expand on what made them unique instead of giving us another Forza Horizon. But removing houses was definitely the biggest downgrade. It makes collecting cars feel far less special.

while I personally don't mind the traffic being lower detail, I would say theres enough cars that can be used as traffic cars to not need unlicensed ones. If it were upto me I'd take LOD's of the 2011 BMW M5, 2012 Cadillac Escalade, 2013 Chrysler 300, 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2012 Jeep Wrangler, 2018 Land-Rover Defender, 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC 250 Coupé, 2010 Mini Cooper S, 2013 MINI Countryman Cooper S, 2022 Toyota Tacoma, 1966 Volkswagen Bus, 2014 Volkswagen Golf and 2011 Volkswagen Touareg and add them to the traffic list. Perhaps licensing a Ford E-Series and a Toyota Sienna to replace the current vans and minivans

I quit after 2 weeks. My favorite part of TC2 was the option to enter races or Cruse around with other players. Motorflop cut out the open world fun. Drags at the NY airport? There's nothing like this. Was looking forward to this game. HUGE disappointment.

They can never make a "The Crew" game like the first one. With a story. However, they _can_ remake the first one. Implement the physics. The car sounds. Revamp customisation and rework the map. Upscale the visuals for the cinematics and so on. I would homestly buy it again and i think most others would.

@@benn8793 Problem is, the Crew has always used a Mix of Real and Fictitious Vehicles, if they dropped the Real Vehicles, the Fanbase would rupture a Gasket for Certain! they, like all Car Game Developers, are in Catch 22, if they keep the Real Brands they have to make Forza Horizon under another name, and the Community flips its Lid because its not a Low and Dirty Street Racing Game anymore, or they can drop the Real Brands, go pure Fiction, make a Street Game, and the Community Flips its Lid because it does not have any real Cars in it! they are Done for either way! Given the Market for a Horizon Style Game is, however, about 10 Times Bigger than the one for a Street Racing Game (as we have seen, NFS just *is not selling* and I fully Expect the next one to be a Horizon Clone as well, for that is what is Selling! ) they may as well just make a Horizon Clone, sure, the Street Race Fans Flip their Lid, but, for every one of those who Quits, they have 10 Potential new customers to Replace them. Appeasing the Car Companies and just making Horizon Clones is, basically, Potentially 10 times more Profitable, so that is what they will do. it is what it is.

I never really liked the handling of the new cars, since it’s super easy to lose control and not at all easy to get back into control once you start sliding. It’s like whatever steering inputs you give your car once you start sliding are completely ignored and you end up sending your car off the road.

Ivory Tower has yet to fix the disappearing issue when cruising with randoms or friends. They also need to add no collision grand races and should bring back all of the PVP game modes from The Crew 1 and put them in Motorfest. These changes can simply make this game more enjoyable, but all you can do once you complete all of the playlist and playlist challenges is cruise around by yourself because other players will dissapear, or do grand races or play demo royale until boredom strikes.

The major complaint is lack of Online Races. Hell even a Non-collision mode of grand-race would be cool. There needs to be more PvP activities for players to engage in. Also more JDM Classics could be added. The Devs seem to favor these “hypercars”.

I played the demo before launch and agree with you on all points. But for me there are also the Fomo mechanics, too much focus on online, and the fact that the game is completely dependent on an internet connection. As a result, it has the same problem as TC1. I no longer buy games with an inbuilt expiration date.

I feel devs should work with more fictional maps which makes relative to game theme than relying on exact maps of the locations just my opinion and it actually feels unfinished at a lot of times when playing. I stopped playing after the first week of hoonigan update and haven’t got back to the game since. It just doesn’t get me back like older racing games anymore. It’s more focused on multiplayer too and that’s just a little boring to me.

Horizon has clearly become the Main Forza Series, if they drop the Ball and release FH6 utterly Broken, then Forza is Finished! they need to hold off as long as Possible to ensure the Game is Done before Releasing. Yes, the Map of FH5 is boring, but it has been Boring since Day One due to the Stultifying Incompetence of Mike Brown who not only chose (simply because of its Compatibility with the "Eliminator" Battle Royale Rubbish) an Inexplicable Location in Mexico, but also ruined the map by making it a Flat, Featureless, Sand Pancake with no Obstacles by focusing so much on Battle Royale that everything else, even the Road Layout (which is utterly Illogical) feels like it was thrown in at the last Second when some Suit with at least half a functioning brain at Microsoft realized that the Roads were Missing! it has been a Terrible map since Day One, but there is nothing that can be done about that and we just have to Put up with it until FH6 is Ready for Launch as they *cannot* Afford to do an FM8 and Release it while it is still an Alpha Build! for that would Kill Forza Stone Dead! it is what it is. FH6 will not be Releasing this Year, because it was not Featured in Developer Direct (Headlined by Indiana Jones and the Great Circle) , had it been Releasing this year, Especially Given Forza Horizon's Status as *The* Xbox Game, being the Highest Selling Exclusive that Microsoft has (20,000,000+ on FH5) it would have Headlined Developer Direct instead of Indiana Jones, so it will not be coming this year. As You correctly Stated, Launching FH6 in 2025 would be Disastrous! launching in the same year as GTA6 would be Corporate Suicide! 2026 Really is the most Logical Year to avoid launching at the same year as GTA and to ensure the Game is fully Functional.

I'd say The Crew franchise suffers from the crew 2. Festival racing starts with tc2 so it's nothing new. If anything tc2 is steps in the wrong direction. TC1 has this good and gritty storyline, much more detailed map compared to tc2, and a more interesting customisation as in you need the base car to unlock its variations. tc2 remove most of the details for the sake of fucking plane and boats which I despise with all my heart like the add those to the game for the sake of it being there because they can't and don't want to compete straight up with Horizon series even tho The Crew 1 has everything Horizon series not like bikes and police and monster truck and summit. So if anything they only need to do The Crew 1 but better instead they went the other way around and create this shitty and grindy game that is the crew 2. And stop defending the fucking hideous map of the crew 2 like how anyone can like that piece of crap that is much less realistic and detailed compared to The Crew 1's map. Seriously, people blasts Horizon series for having wide ass road but have you seen tc2 road tho??? And look at the circuits available in tc2 compared to the ones available on TC1 and you'd find the different in qualities of tc2 race tracks is nothing compared to the ones in The Crew 1. Seriously, if you think tc2 map is good then you need to check your head because there's definitely something wrong with it, you psycho. Motorfest is the step to the right direction but they keep the boats and the planes which is a letdown, but at least this time they lean more towards the meat and potatoes which is the cars (and some bikes). But as before, The Crew Motorfest should just be Test Drive Unlimited but better instead they wanted to keep leaning to the shitty games that is the crew 2 with some planes and boats and the customisation and the grindathon which I despise with all my heart.

My two problems with The Crew Motorfest 1. feats are annoying when I want to cruise to relax or reach the destination that I set in the GPS. Sure, I can avoid it by going off the road or aborting it, but they should made a disable option for it 2. I keep racing the same cars in custom race mode. Whenever I race with my hypercar class in custom race mode, I keep racing against the same Sian, Divo, and Jesko. Is it possible to make the game choose a random AI car to race against, such as the 720S Spider or Ford GT?

I have lived in LA, St. Louis, Detroit, and Norfolk; and I have been to Seattle, San Francisco, Nashville, Dallas, Amarillo, Santa Fe, Roswell, Wash. DC, El Paso, Chicago, New York, New Orleans, Tampa, and Miami. I have also been to Oahu and driven around the island in real life. When I found out that the Motorfest map would be limited to that island, I was highly disappointed. The ONLY way that Motorfest improves on the Crew 2 is the handling physics/dynamics. After that, the Crew 2 is superior in every way and I still love it. The huge map and the ability to drive, ride, fly, or float various vehicles was what made the Crew 2 a winner for me. The fact that I can do so at my leisure like a tourist, just enjoying the sights, is a plus. Also, there is the variety of environments--e.g. deserts, canyons, forests, swamps, plains, grasslands, mountains, rivers, lakes, beaches--which one tropical island cannot possibly match. The fact that trains run their routes and one must watch out at train crossings-especially at 300mph/500kph-is a bit of realism which I think is outstanding. The new Race Creator is a fantastic addition, and I love the new Mad events. I could very well be wrong, but I believe that many Motorfest players agree with me but are living in denial because of financial/promotional reasons, or because they don't want admitting this mistake to harm Ivory Tower's racing game market share. If The Crew 4 returned to the US (or with some other huge map...even larger than TC2?) with more detail and the improved physics, they would have it all (TC2 already has it all, IMO). I hope The Crew franchise doesn't die on a little island out in the Pacific Ocean. I will play TC2 until Ubisoft lets it die, and I hope that wont' be for a long time into the future. However, I admit that I do like the thunderstorms in Motorfest with the lightning and thunder. Brilliant.

We need more pvp modes. Grand races are the main thing ppl play bc it’s the only racing mode that’s available to play online. After 3 months, that format is getting stale. Single category races with shorter 2-3 mins tracks will be a much needed breath of fresh air. Without it, I don’t see this game lasting another 3 months

The Crew fanboy here. Motorfest is terrible and it should've been a DLC like it was planned for. This game is awful, it looks feels and sounds good that's it. It's awful. There's still no rear view mirror or license plates and y'all are ok with them lying to us.

@@jpcthename6282 I agree, especially you have to do the whole America. I was dissapointed that those towns are not 1 to 1, I would rather them to focus on 1 state and do good. Also, they are taking down the crew 1 in march so disc or digital will be useless, the crew 2 will be next. I just traded my the crew 2 for cyberpunk 77 and its way better driving wise and graphics wise.

@@jpcthename6282 they are all online to entry games. Its been years and it takes money to renew car licensing and to run online servers. Guess they just dont want to make an offline server so we lose out. A big utuber is planning to sue them, look up on google but would be hard to sue. Whatever, fuck The Crew series. Imma be back to the old NFS and Drive Club.

I came from a background of gran turismo, to forza horizon, and now I’m trying the crew motor fest. And let me just say that the physics in the crew MF are just the same as every NFS game. Horrible and just as if the made it and threw it in the game. They didn’t even try to fix the physics, probably because they had kids as their game testers. I bought the game cause I wanted to explore the map, but even the graphics in the map are kinda sloppy. Great colors but the sharpness is horrible and computerized. Cars are good but you can tell from the koenigsegg drift car that it was an imaginary idea, instead of trying to be realistic. Really not worth the bang for you buck if anyone reads this and try’s to buy it. I’ve had it for over 3 months now and every time I play it I’m just frustrated with the physics of the driving. Like if doing donuts is regulated and a hard turn will set you into the wall instead of a smooth drift. Just like the physics of NFS games. It’s a kids game.
