I’m 40. I did ecstasy back starting in 1995. We had “pures” that were pure mdma but it was never as fun as the dangerous stuff. I will say, my mental health is a wreck and I do believe the constant ecstasy usage must have done some permanent damage.

There was actually lots of PMA sold at MDMA (in pill form) around that time as there was a global shortage of some of the ingredients required to make MDMA, was a nightmare to get all the ingredients and if you could it was so expensive it would be hard to make your money as everyone else was selling PMA at £1-2 a pop (thinking it’s MDMA a lot of the time). That’s also why it was much more dangerous as you are much more likely to overheat and drink too much on PMA

Reagent testing should definitely just be thought of a pre requisite for anyone who wants to take drugs these days. It's literally like £25 for a kit with more tests than you'll likely ever need. Can easily detect notable contaminants and cuts. Unless the colour of the test comes out indisputably corresponding with that for MDMA then don't take it. And as for pills nowadays, start with quarters. Dosages have become super excessive nowadays, and dangerous. Just cause it comes as one pill doesn't mean you need to take the whole thing. And where I (and many others) went wrong with MDMA was the amounts and the frequency. You shouldn't need more than 120mg for a wicked night, with 60mg top up (if even needed). You don't need to rinse half a gram+, or do it every other weekend and fry out your serotonin for months. Life is a marathon - not a race, don't burn yourself out too quickly and regret it.

I tried it earlier this year, me and a group of mates decided to camp in a field, and then conversation of getting mdma came up. bought two 3g baggies between 6 people. the other 3 people left after doing the first hit. later on that evening in the tent one of my mates said somthing and i started laughing uncontrollably, the effects had started, i felt so much love for everyone and clinged onto my best mate alot. then i had the urge to run alot in the field without any shoes... i kissed the ground and apprciated the heck outta life. then proceded to do a bit more the next day with only a few hours sleep. i was wired and the highest i had ever felt. (i dont recommend doing this, we got rocks and could have been cut with anything!)

If you take MDMA every 3-4 months, can it be considered an addiction? If you take the right measures to ensure you're rolling safely you won't ever have an experience like this. I suggest making sure to test your drugs always before taking them and also listening to the recommended dosages usually bags are sold at a gram and taking a quarter (250mg) depending on your body weight etc etc is obviously not the best idea especially if it's your first time. substances should be respected appropriately and used with care.

I used it for a year and a half when I was about 19 after being talked into chipping in for a bigger bag when I tagged along to my first (and last) rave. Most ecstasy pills prior to 2014 weren't low dose MDMA, they were a synthetic stimulant called BZP or similar. My favourites were Mitsubishis (mid to late 90s) and Orange Teslas (250mg) I used to throw up if I took too much (ie one high strength pill) but I was fine on half. I once got some pills which were MDA (slightly more potent than MDMA) I was walking my dog, lost him and then started freaking out. Turns out he was at home all along, so I must've been walking an imaginary dog.

couple years back around 2012-2016 i think, there was a push by the united nations for countries where safrole (the main ingredient needed to make mdma) was produced to burn all of their supply of it, and enough safrole was destroyed that it prevented literally millions of pills from being produced. to make up for this, producers started using a different ingredient to replace safrole but because of this, the end product was no longer MDMA, but PMA, and in the uk at the time something crazy like 95% of pills were cut with PMA, to the point where almost pills contained way more PMA than MDMA. problem was, PMA is wayyy more toxic than MDMA and actually caused a ton of deaths, like way more than regular MDMA would have. this is probably why when he was doing pills in 2014 it wouldn’t feel as good and why he threw up all the time

I used to have rock form crystal MDMA most weekends for a good year straight. Used to feel like i loved everyone, loved dancing, absolutely loved my time on it. Until i got some brown-looking dirty stuff. Took it before i got in the club, projectile vomitted 10ft down the corridor on the way to the toilet to throw up, IN THE CLUB!! Another night, i got caught and taken to a cell for what seemed like 6 hours, to find that the police had tested my 'MDMA' and said that it wasn't what i thought it was! Eventually a few weeks/months later, I had a realisation in the back of a taxi that this life wasn't for me, so i ended my relationship, both with my GF at the time and with MDMA. I will always look at my experience as just that, an experience. Keep smoking, no joking around drugs!

An anti-emetic or a 5ht3 antagonist medicine probably would've prevented your vomiting and nausea. Even some weed maybe but it gets quite dangerous when you start mixing stuff with m. Even weed
