Why I Swapped to THIS Sony Camera

My wife and I are wildlife hobby photographers, she prefers a smaller kit, so I lug around the Sigma 60-600 on a A7R5 and my wife uses the A6700 on a Tamron 50-400 giving her the same reach as my kit. It’s pretty amazing of what the A6700 can do having the same AI AF than the big boy. Results are incredible. Sometimes makes me question why I am schlepping around the heavy kit 😂 the A6700 is a beast.

Yeah right! I feel as though the main limitations of the smaller APC sensors are the reduced low light performance which is kind of a bummer and the fact its not full frame. Other than that they are really good cameras! MY dream camera would be the A7RV!

It’s so nice!! Just be careful with the overheating issues for long periods of use in 60fps or above! Other than that this is a wonderful camera with a few hidden features!! ❤

@@DavidCMreactions I take a lot of photos as well, and the Sony a6700 is catered to both video and photos equally more than the fx 30 is. I would’ve gone with the fx 30 if it wasn’t for more photography features on the a6700

@ I understand, I do have an Fx30 so majority of my use for it is video and it does have great photo quality but I’ve been told that 6700 has a faster autofocus for photography.

yeah, the Sony a6700 has the ai auto focus from the new Sony A7 cameras and has a physical shutter where as the fx 30 only has an electronic shutter
