Nice video,do you use yellow ,orange or red filters or is it all post process to achieve your look? I love colour but enjoy other peoples B and W and try to do the odd monochrome image, my main camera is a leica Q2

I never use filters at all. I just mess about with the lighting and contrast after in post

Hi Paul, just taking your camera with you is the best thing to do! I do the same. When I started taking them with me, I was often asked, "Why do you have a camera with you?". Today I'm only asked if I don't have one with me. And that's very rare ;-) I really like your photos of Blackpool and also the color look in the video sequences. It reminds me of old American movies. Blackpool…man it’s 20 years since I’ve been there. Was quite a bit run down at that time but I loved that atmosphere. Is it still that way? Lovely atmospheric shots. And yes, always bring a camera 😁

Love those up close portraits. They capture people’s personality. Perhaps you could show us some time your approach to engaging with folks to take their picture. Candid shots may be the truest definition of street photography, but permission based street photos can be enjoyable too.

It’s interesting that I find you on this journey of late. I recently put away my R5 and dug out a dusty under utilized Panasonic LX 100 and am falling in love all over again with the Summilux 24-75! Shooting for the joy of shooting again is a wonderful feeling. I’m in the process of deciding on the Q3 Monochrome or a regular one. No decision yet, nor is it really needed just yet. In Canada the Q3 is a hefty $8100. So it will take me a while to save up, but I’m $600 in already😂 Just thankful for a wife who puts up with my purchases 🙂 Great video and keep them coming.
