I just removed the basket, and have a bag for the hose. So much easier to take the 8070 in and out.

it comes down to what carpet extractor works in your van set up, budget, application. Like that mosquito seems better. But hose it way to short for me, suction is decent. but overall it’s hard for to change from Mytee Becuase of how much I can hold and my hose length. Mytee does suck but it’s so far worked for me lol
@Brandinwagstaff24 күн бұрын
I feel that, but definitely dont buy a mytee again lol. This shop said theyd set me up with a hose extension kit, I may give that a shot

I ditched my tee for Sandia. 1/3 the price double the quality and performance.

Soon you wont need an extractor.

That’s what I hear, more experienced detailers begin to just use steam 🤷🏻

Would you recommend the 50 PSI or the 120 PSI?
@Brandinwagstaff6 күн бұрын
Ive only used a 120 psi so I couldn’t really speak on the 50 psi. The 120 psi provides a lot of pressure and the water really sprays out fast. Not sure of the 50 psi, Id assume its a bit slower

since you used it, is that 8 ft hose enough to reach to the back of 3rd row seats suvs and vans?
@Brandinwagstaff24 күн бұрын
Its going to be close, Im going to do my best to make the short hose work because its easy and simple to use but theres a chance that Im going to get a hose extension

The new mytee hp90 s a beast of a machine they fixed the issues that the 8070 had I use my hp90 in my mobile detail van and it works amazing. Well worth the money but you do have to use the mighty maintenance solution And I have learned that a 3 gallon tank just isn’t enough to do a full shampoo on a car. I don’t like refilling every 20 minutes and HP 90 has a 5 gallon tank.
@qualityrefinish830227 күн бұрын
Also, the 8 foot hose you will run out very fast when you’re doing big SUVs and trucks especially lifted the 15th foot hose is definitely the way to go

I think there is a lot of things to consider when purchasing a unit. I see what you’re talking about on having more gallons, it may help if you’re working alone it could help because its less work to refill but if you have a two man team it should be no problem to have one guy refill. Plus if you have a large van then maybe a large extractor may work but if space is limited it is going to cause complications inside the van. Im sure the HP90 is a formidable unit but mytee isn’t the only kid on the block and so isn’t the mosquito. I worked with the 8070 2 years so it will be a big adjustment using a smaller unit with a shorter hose, yes longer hose and more gallons may have some flexibility but I guarantee a person can adapt to a shorter hose and less gallons and quite possibly become more efficient. Meaning using less water making you get the job done quicker plus less time fumbling with a long hose. We will see I will definitely give guys honest updates on my experience with a spotter. But for me I believe it already makes sense because this unit has the exact same performance, same pump, same heater and same vacuum as a full size mytee, just more compact.. who doesn’t like compact??

Should’ve just gotten the Rip Clean hose kit and another shop vac and use it as a dedicated machine for extractions.
@Juicefree26 күн бұрын
That one is cool but depending on how much this was might be worth it with it being heated but honestly if you get a high foaming upholstery cleaner designed to be used by hand and a ik foamer and the right brush ..you wouldn't even need a extractor
@Brandinwagstaff26 күн бұрын
That may for some people but thats just my style. I dont like make shift stuff. I want the highest quality on the planet or damn near close.
@Samuelfish2k27 күн бұрын
Honestly I’d rather convert a 14 gallon Ridgid into an extractor. No heat but you’ve got plenty of suction and way more water tank than any of these extractors. Plus you never hear about a Ridgid breaking down and hoses for shop vacs are cheap as hell compared to what they charge for extractor hoses for those machines.
@Brandinwagstaff27 күн бұрын
This is a great option. The issue is where and how will get a pump sprayer that is efficient and effective as a extractor
@Samuelfish2k27 күн бұрын
@ The main obstacle in your situation is that you’re mobile. It’s a setup that works mainly for a shop or home based detailing business because it requires a combination air hose connected to a garden hose that’s connected to a spigot. Once it’s connected you simply use a Mighty Upholstery tool and it sprays water the same way an extractor does except it’s not heated water. All the parts cost less than $200 not including the vacuum itself, which everyone already has a vacuum.

How does this compare to the 300H?
@Brandinwagstaff26 күн бұрын
The mytee 300h is only 1 gallon capacity. This mosquito spotter is a more practical 3 gallon capacity. I used it today it works fantastic. It works just like a commercial carpet extractor should. This has a better design then the 300h. I would say the mosquito is in a whole different class than any mytee on the market. I can say ill never being going back to mytee, there engineering design work just doesn’t do it for me.

I dont know if u guys have the ones from Kärcher in the States. I bought the Kärcher Puzzi 8/1 new gen and its actually doing ok. No heater tho. Only spray and vacuum. Recently it started leaking water through the trigger which is kinda disapointing due to its very high price. Might have to look into it. Its always a surprise when u upload!
@Brandinwagstaff27 күн бұрын
That’s good to hear, thank you 🙌 Well Ive been told by the pros that heat isn’t absolutely necessary. A lot of the big time carpet cleaners don’t use heat because its just one added component that can break on your machine. Check out the Mesquito, might be a good time for you to upgrade.

Get a 50 ft hose bro
@Brandinwagstaff26 күн бұрын
The longer the hose the more power and suction is sacrificed. Same with the heat pump sprayer. Shorter hose more heat more spray. I used the short hose today it works phenomenal.
