Idk how you popped up in my feed all the sudden but you did yesterday & I’m actually happy that the algorithm works somewhat on KZbin cuz I needed another source to watch for in depth analysis. For me personally I like to know the in depth stuff I.e 500mb 700mb 850mb etc etc. It helps to understand why a storm does what it does. So thank you & you’ve got another follower/subscriber

Hello Travis, over a foot of snow in some areas already. Sault Ste Marie has been walloped already and off of Georgian bay in areas around Bracebridge have already seen 17 inches. The band off of Georgian Bay has been intense since last night.

I live south of the Tug Hill in Upstate, NY. They have had episodes of what they call "winter in a week" where they get multiple feet of snow off Lake Ontario. Syracuse only gets a lot of snow when those bands come southeast. I enjoy your forecasts.

Local media in STL is forecasting a broad band of about 1" of snow across the viewing market with the urban area seeing 1.5" of snow and some areas possibky getting 3". This is for the clipper movong through on Nov 30th.

I make hay in south central KY. I NEED (not want....NEED) someone who can tell me the weather for THREE days in advance. The local wether people say, "In a dry period...no rain for 2 weeks", then 2 days later, "$0% to 50% chance of rain tonight", or 70% chance of rain for 7 days, and we get not.one.drop.

There are multiple models, short range, medium range, and long range. A few of them are GFS NAM EUROPEAN CANADIAN HRRR and ENSEMBLES of several that have different solutions. Some bigger companies have their own models that use the public data to form a forecast, but those are few and far in between.
