Thanks, Ruth. What I don't understand is why many women concentrate their eye cream underneath the eyes. I've always, always assumed I should take it all the way round - so, on upper lid and lower. I look pretty ok having done that but perhaps I'd have looked even better if I hadn't. No, wait, impossible ...😁 I've always nervously avoided eyes with a retinol product, but might give that Olay you mentioned a go. Thanks. And love your shorter hair. I'm slowly growing a Pixie cut out to get to about the same length, in time for my daughter's wedding a year from now 🤔

Ive always found I get puffy eyelids if I apply cream directly. I use cream below and it seems to migrate round,or my face moisturiser works its way down.

I’ve always used it on my lids too. Well, on my brow bone, not too close to my eyes. I haven’t had any problems either 😊

100% agree with you Ruth regarding using retinol as an eye cream - I just love it! Could you give me/us your best eye cream alternative for those of us that are pregnant? 😊

You don t need one if you are not allowed to use retinol. Just a plain face cream will do the job. If you want to look good under eyes, try some healthy diet.

I like a vit c eye cream for the AM and a vitamin a eye cream for the PM. I also bring it up above my eyebrows

Thanks for the suggestion of the Murad eye cream! I've tried a few products from their brand in the past, and my skin really gets on well with it, so the retinol eye cream could be a helpful one for me also! I've heard that Age Reversal from Dermalogica works well for some people, but sadly it was too strong for my under eyes, and they went all dry and itchy. I think it's pretty hard to find something that works well and doesn't cause irritation

I can’t believe dermatologists actually tell you to use regular skincare around your eyes. I have oily lids and whatever I put on my eyes eventually migrates INTO my eyes. Now I have macular degeneration so I’m definitely not putting any old skincare around my eyes.

I've used an eye cream since I was 20...which was many moons ago. I don't know whether it's helped, or if it's just good genes. But I can't use retinol around my eyes unfortunately. It makes my skin itch and it goes red 🙁.
