Honestly I feel like it hasn't even entered people's minds whether he does sponsorships or not. Of course I'll notice when he doesn't do it but subconsciously I'm just thinking he didn't do it for the particular video I'm watching. Never noticing that it's not for any of them. Just look at his situation. He has 1.4 mln subs, while his views per video is anywhere between 50k-200k lately, with a log of 800+ videos to get views from. There aren't many ppl to piss off, while he rakes in what would it be, anywhere between $5k-9k a month (and that'd probably on the lower end in a year, since it's summer). No wonder he's content. Good for him.

The "new" white meat nuggets they came out with a couple decades ago are half the size of the old dark meat nuggets they had through the 90's. 30 is about the same as 15 so it's not even what used to be a 20 piece. Eating McNuggets is like eating potato chips now.

I can understand Ben's reasoning; when your income becomes tied to sponsorships, it becomes harder to make decisions for yourself. Instead, decisions become centered around what will keep the income flowing or what will increase it. Another thing to keep in mind is that money does change people and not always for the better. People say he should take sponsorships and make as much money as possible, but these same people are also going to be the ones crying and trying to drag him down when he does this and "changes". When he's ready to cross that bridge, he'll do it. For now, let him be himself. Kudos to Ben for simply being, Ben.

Someone responded to my comment but seems to have deleted it. Let me respond to @Reverie8833 anyway: Yes, he can ask his subscribers to donate or pay for membership and that's HIS decision and it is also the subscribers' decision whether they want to or not. If he takes money from sponsors, he may not have a choice in other aspects (such as taking on other competing sponsors - really depends how the contracts are written). Likewise, his subscribers may not have a good opinion of some of the potential sponsors (take Better Health for example) and so feel that Ben has is no longer being "authentic"; he could end up losing viewership in this way. So it's not as simple as saying "yes" to sponsors and taking the money they give (which come with a lot of strings attached). And as he said, he's not business oriented at this time and has no need for more money - as he's content with what he has). Finally, yes I did watch the whole video, but you (Reverie883) did not seem to comprehend it.

I'm glad that Ben doesn't do sponsorships at all, because I watch Korean Mukbangers/ASMR and their fans get really butthurt when they don't list the sponsorships or give them a shout out and then they have to do an apology video about how "bad" they felt. "Lying" to their fans and all the mumbo jumbo nonsense. The fans attack the mukbangers for no reason too, it's a whole fiasco that I wouldn't want to see from any mukbanger/asmr. These so called "fans" will unsubscribe and lose all hope of them mukbangers calling them the meanest things ever. I'm like if you hate their videos don't watch it why do you have to cyber bully them to they make an apology video to you and then have the balls to say that their apology is fake and say that they only made it because they were caught and not actually apologizing for what they have done. It's pure nonsense is what it is.

you've always naturally been the most authentic food-tuber or youtuber in general to me. if you wanted to do that 30 second plug to take ring lady on a lil excursion and do another one of those overseas food series, or maybe buy some stuff for little deen when he/she comes along, i think i can speak for most of us when i say nobody gonna bat an eye lol. please don't feel limited in taking sponsorships or opening up channel memberships, i trust you won't sell out anyway. haters gonna hate, we all tryna live out here.

Doing a sponsorship to grow your income and or channel will be something we support you on. If you do one and another that’s enticing doesn’t come along for quite some time it may even help your audience ease into it. Don’t limit yourself and confirm your own biases about “your limitations”, we watch for your personality, there’s something to it, I’ve watched you for the last 7 years or so. Back to the days when you cut your own hair on video, gave us that one scare story which limited you speaking on your personal life for a little while, back to when your shared your real name and adoption story. The real ones know what you’re about. Get your money while you can my guy. Don’t limit yourself, change is expected in life, embrace it! but if you’re truly happy with how things are and don’t want change, then that’s alright too.

I love that you are just doing your thing like you have always done. And if you ever come across an offer that you are really interested in and think that this is just the perfect thing, then you should actually do it. Because we will know that you aren´t doing it for the money but because you were actually interested in the sponsorship. They could be some people who might stop watching you but i guess the majority will still watch your videos because they are simple, chill and especially because it´s you in front of the camera. I will say theres no guarantees in life and theres no saying if or when youtube will end so I dont think any real fans would hold it against you for maximizing earning opportunities with sponsorships. You gotta do whats best for you and your family and you gotta be honest with what you want to do. The real fans will stick around and the haters will just use this as an excuse to hate so don’t worry about us bro. Ben I feel you, and if however much more you would make isn't worth the stress and hassle of doing sponsorhips (plus your personal reputation and ethics) by all means I wouldn't either. My only advice would be to make sure that with what you are making, you're setting yourself up long term (investing and other stuff) to make sure that whenever you want to stop doing KZbin or if it goes away, you have a very comfortable cushion. Keep it up i'm a big fan!
