As I age I'm finding that the whole canning process takes so much out of me and seems never ending. I like the concept of this. I watched how to choose a dehydrator and like the foot print of the TriBest; it isn't such a monster that I can't move it out when I need it so I'll be looking into that. Thank you.

yes!! I move my tribest continually, it's super light. I remember when I first got it being SHOCKED that such a high-quality dehydrator can be so light-weight too. And the footprint is perfect, taking up little room on my kitchen counter.

Thank you for the opportunity of winning a dehydrator. Dehydrating would be more freeing than monitoring a cancer.

This is a game changer. Thank you. My husband doesn't like when i can sauces because he says he can taste the citric acid or lemon juice.

Do you use the oxygen absorbers in your dehydrated food jars ?
@MichelleVisser
@MichelleVisser 2 ай бұрын
on rare occasions... but most folks don't realize that they are only useful until you open the container. moisture absorbers are actually more useful/practical for dehydrated food. I go into great detail about this in Dehydrating Academy. (btw for just a few more days it's 60% off the already discounted introductory price: graceful-base-213.myflodesk.com/qh26kg9qxn

@@MichelleVisser your comment confused me -do you mean the absorbers are only affective until the dehydrated food jar is opened. Seems useless and expensive if you have to put new one in each time.
@MichelleVisser

@@louonUT correct, it's useless unless maybe you're using them in a jar of food you know you won't be opening for a while, but moisture absorbers can be more useful, since opening the jar doesn't deactivate them. But truth be told I don't use either. (But I explain all the options in Dehydrating Academy.)

Sorry...oh.my.gawd...takes friggin 6 minutes to even GET to marginal info...🙄

sorry you feel that way, but I couldn't host a podcast without the amazing sponsors who so generously want to be a part of this. I also have many folks reach out on the opposite side of the aisle who like just sitting down "with me" every week and "shooting the breeze" so to each his own and I'm pretty sure you can find lots of other great podcasts out there that you love... but this "marginal" content was something that folks have been asking for, so to others it's pretty core content. Anyway, thanks for your input & nice to meet you
