I'm currently using the SE series which covers all the basic grounds of my daily usage and holds up against all the more giant iPhone series really well. I don't see any highlight benefits with the island itself. The single camera set still takes crisp and clear photos/videos. The phone's very portable. It still keeps up with every usage. Battery's a bit of a thing to consider but I'm not that much of a phone addict and I've got constant power source so it's not really an issue. But of course if other people could seek or find something fascinating in newer iPhone models - more power to them. It's just not something I'd really look out or look forward to.

Owning an iPhone 5 rather than an iPhone 4s in 2013 made a huge difference. Owning an iPhone 14 over an iPhone 13 in 2023 barely does. They even look almost identical. Smartphone are no longer a new technology, they have reached a plateau of development and, much like refrigerators, fullfill all their main functions very well regardless of model or price. This may change in the future, but unless someone steps on a stage tomorrow like Steve Jobs did in 2007 and says ”today we will reinvent the phone”, I’m afraid the tech world will have to focus on other novelties for the time being

Currently using an iPhone 11 Pro Max, bought it this year. This was really something Inhave been thinking about for months now, I was all eaten up by the prestige of owning the latest and greatest and I did at one point but now I realized that it really isnt sustainable because damn are phones expensive, especially here in the Philippines. I’m happy with what I have now and it does everything i need, i wanna reinforce the mentality that contentment is key to a happy life and comparison really is the thief of joy. 14 Pro, coming from the 12 Mini (which was all I needed at the time) it would be hard to go back. That high refresh screen, better battery, better cameras, and bigger size are must-haves for me.

Literally right after I posted this I switched back to the 13 Mini haha. Just sold my 14 Pro yesterday. Everyday ergonomics can’t beat occasional niceties like an extra camera lens.

I'm using an iPhone 12 Mini right now. It works really well for me, I love the size. But mine is the black one, which I had gotten like a green one or something. The battery does suck though, with it lasting from 8:00 AM to about 3:00-4:00PM with non-excessive use. Great videos and especially cinematic shots.

I have preordered the new iPhone every single year since 2014 and handed it down to a family or friend each year so I’ll never be using an old iPhone or iPad or Apple Watch don’t use any type of laptop or desktop ever again in my life tho

@@baluz44 my family’s devices are 8 years old and my dad needed a new phone just the other month and I got the 14 for less then I was paying for my 13 pro max plan and now I have a new iPhone and he upgraded from The iPhone X saves us from having to buy two iPhone or three iPhone or four cause my mom needed a new phone after five years with the XR and my brother needed a new iPhone after years with there old one same with my other brother upgraded from a Samsung S10 to my iPhone 12 Pro Max everyone has upgraded all because of me and at very little cost

@@SLICK8116 it actually saved us money cause we all needed new iPhones anyways as my family runs Russell’s mobile grooming and all use there iPhone for work business and for personal life I’m so lucky to be able to upgrade each year and hand it down to a family member even aunts and uncles who would never be able to afford an iPad or iPad now have them because of me and there my old iPhone 6 🅂 and my iPad Air 2 all on there same original battery as my family takes really good care of there products I hand down to them

I have a 13 Pro Max... so one generation behind so far. I think things probably average out to keeping a phone for 2 generations, but I'd like to generally shoot for 3. Funny enough, when I haven't gone for the Pro line or bought prior generation or used models, I've found myself wanting to upgrade notably earlier than when I've just gone all out and gotten the best I could reasonably justify. So, taking that into account, and the fact that I do quite enjoy photography makes me want to stick to the Pro line going forward.

i traded in my iphone 11 for a 13 pro max back in april due to the $1000 trade value deal at tmobile. the 11 was good, i just wasn’t a big fan of the screen because of the lock screen. it would look tacky no matter what the wallpaper was due to the resolution but other than that it worked well. not to mention i was under my parents phone plan so i didn’t have a bill. paying $129 a month made me realize how expensive these phones are when i don’t do much on them but listen to music, youtube and school homework. makes me appreciate the 11 a lot more.

Even an iPhone from a few years ago is a flagship in essence. When it was released, it was the newest iPhone of that moment. Besides this, any iPhone with an A12 Bionic SoC or higher is still relevant in 2023. Not only because it is supported by the latest OS but also because these SoCs are still extremely powerful. Even ‘power users’ will not utilize the complete chipset from an 2018 iPhone with A12.

I've got an iPhone 12 and I still really like it. I've had it just under 2 years, which is normally when I convince myself to upgrade, but not this time! The camera has a little stutter when I first open it sometimes, which is annoying but not so much so that I need to run out and upgrade. The first thing for me that normally craps out on the iPhone for me is the battery--so when this one starts to die I'm gonna go to the Apple Store and get it replaced--they only cost like $69 dollars now. The other plus for me is that I like to use a phone caseless, but when they're the newest, most expensive model, I feel like I have to shove it in a case. But with this two year old phone, I'm not as particular about it and can use it more like a tool than a luxury item. And when I do upgrade, I think I'm gonna go with one of the discontinued mini iPhones--I always wanted to try one and didn't get a chance before they got shelved. Thanks for the videos. In the past I've had original se, the se 2 , and iPhone 6s, iPhone 11 and iPhone 13 mini. In the end I got fed up with iPhones. Nowadays I have a £120 oppo phone and it does most of what I need without much compromise. I don't do gaming , I do love photography, and whilst the camera is not as good as I've previously been used to , it will more than do for a while. The most I'd pay for a phone is around £250. I can't justify iPhone Costs anymore

Once I went to 120hz on my 14 pro max, every 60hz phone died to me Then you may say “13 pro max” I like the island and use it everyday (namely timers, music, recipes, sunrise/sunset times) and now I have it I can’t go back to not having it It cost $3084 for an iPhone 14 pro max 1tb with apple care and I plan to use it for the duration of my 2 yr applecare plan

I think, if your having trouble doing regular uploads. U could still shoot vids the way u want but just upload one a week, even if u shot 2 or 3 that week. U can have a back catalogue of videos to upload later, also gives u more time and flexibility for making new content… Idk, just a suggestion :)

so i got sick of android around 2021 and wanted a change, sold my s21 ultra and got a 13 mini, loved the form factor and such but the swipe gestures hurt my hand with carpal tunnel, so i sold it and got an iphone 13 pro max, amazing device 120hz 2 day battery, still the best phone you can get IMO the 14 isnt as good, and then my wife needed a pro max for vtubing/streaming so i gave it to her and got the 13 pro, also a great phone but still too heavy, i just got a dirt cheap 2020 SE and im loving the portability, lightness and comfort along with the acceptable speed, a13 is more than enough and 60hz is serviceable. These older phones are definitely the value sweet spot.

Most youtubers wear makeup on camera. For the simple reason that they have artificial lighting set up for the camera that however does show on your skin. Also, it’s 2023, so you really shouldn’t question it either way if a man chooses to wear makeup

I have an iPhone 📱 13 Pro Max and I love technology and I feel like I’m bored AF with my iPhone and also I feel drained from how expensive it is to be in the Apple ecosystem I have really considered using a Google pixel phone because it seems like a better trade for value and I also feel Google is making a more helpful phone.
