Cam, I fucking dig you so much. I thought it was super bad ass when you started doing that picnic and I was bummed it didn’t jive with my schedule either years. I live part time in Breckenridge, Colorado and part-time in Texas and I was in Texas both times. (I drive in Colorado with Texas tags so I know a little bit about what it’s like to be hated!) I love the drug references, I’m 6 1/2 years sober from everything but I was primarily a big drinker, so those references really make me laugh. Astrology actually helped me when I got sober. And even though I drank, I dabbled in other stuff. There are just so many analogies you make that are perfect! 😂 I don’t know, man, I don’t mean this patronizing but I am 48 so please take this in a non-patronizing sense. It takes some balls to put yourself out there and go against the grain and I’m proud of you. Keep being fucking awesome.

Theres a book called The Gift Of Fear that i would highly recommend as you navigate this, its by Gavin de Becker Hes an expert in threats, and even does a test with his university students where he tries to get them to threaten him, and he can tell with certainty whether the threat is legitimate or not. Hes helped so many people reconcile hard victimising experiences and strengthen intuition and cognitive patterns ❤

On a personal note, The exact day Pluto moved into my 1st whole sign house (5deg from my asc point) someone with severe mental issues from my way distant past decided to send me 60+ deranged emails overnight. It was so damn scary. Luckily, they backed off. Just an episode and didn’t have to get authorities involved, but it bummed me out sooooooo much. Like, I cried for days. The emails weren’t even super threatening… it’s just the energy that’s going around I guess. Anyway, be well. Keep doing your thing. We’re all sending good vibes your way.

I appreciate you because you keep it real. As someone who works as a crisis counselor, I am going to give you my thoughts. It's possible and even probable that if you contact crisis services in your county to tell them that you believe that the individual you shared about is a danger to themselves or others, that they will be able to provide more relevant help than the police are able to. Not that police aren't useful, of course they are -but many of them aren't well versed in psychiatric emergent people. Whereas a mental health professional will be able to mandate a 72 hour hold if necessary so that said individual will be able to get the evaluation and treatment they need.
