Well to be fair, he’s gotten his most consistent success as a content creator with 2K. A large part of his fan base was generated through 2K. It’s been his livelihood. It totally makes sense for him to at least talk about the game

They let ppl play earlier so they could show off all the "exploits" and make patches before the game drops. Everything you have heard about 2k will change within days of release. So all those "Metabuilds" best build everrrr videos are just made to entice ppl to drop a few hundred on builds that are trash... 99 3pt 99dunk 35 speed with ball PG.

Look at what they did after losing that lawsuit last year-they changed their terms of service. They've been doing this for decades.
