There is a such thing as a perfect e-bike, it’s one that you build/spec & adjust to your liking/surroundings. I’ve commissioned the builds on two & equipped two to my liking’s. They each do & are capable of different things & eliciting different moods/vibes. The algorithm & influencers taint the landscape & promote certain products, because that’s what they’re presented or know. The field is loaded with tons of crap, which people are forced to sift through. Meanwhile, the power is always with the consumer, but I digress. Enjoy your builds/bikes in good health.

1. The X3 is a street bike that can go dirt 2. Warrenty 3. Cops is very area dependent. The x3 without the fender looks like a regular bike

I have a Surron and live next to San Gabriel Mountains. Strictly use it for off road. If I lived in Downtown, I could see how e-bikes would be useful.

Talaria and surron looks cool. But I personally I rather go with a ebike that has a moped style looks (For example Ride1up, ghostcat, juiced bikes) also good ranges before changing the battery. I was able put turn signals and motocross bag on my scorpion X2, and its perfect for my occasion ride. Next I’ll put a windshield on the front, soon.

@@Raspyrides only the off road controller for scorpion X2 is sold on juiced bikes website. And it’s goes about 25-28mph on flat ground throttle only, and 30mph when going downhill.

Call me a boomer but certain parents nowadays dont give a damn who their kid hangs out and it shows especially with these kids getting away with crap like that. Those kids didnt want that smoke 😂...anyways great vid and explanation on your choices, i think the way Cali is handling dirt bike style ebikes nowadays, we're also getting heat for and possible confiscation in certain states which is why i prefer stealthier ebikes.

I'm with you. I like being able to ride on the sidewalk occasionally without anyone looking twice. I like having a sleeper. And, I like the feeling of pride from having built something original, on my own. Plus, since it's built, we always know how to fix it when something goes wrong. On top of that, since it's custom, it's exactly how I like it. Costs less as far as bang for the buck as well. Built not bought for the win! ✌️

This is the point of the ebike people dont understand . Nit having cops having to think about stopping u better to pass without having to worry . I fear any cop stop could be potentially fatal. So I would prefer fast sleeper then a moto looking bike on side walk with no pedals

I myself don't want to get pulled over and my bike took cause it looks like a motorcycle or dirt bike cause they will. I like my ebike although I want it to go faster to just keep up when there is no bike lane cause there isn't in Colorado unless your downtown. There is not a ton of those ebikes here yet but there is a crazy ton of just regular ones. And there are actual cops now that sit I hear on the bike paths to see if your going faster then I think 25. Mine goes about 32 max. I got the EUY K6 Pro I've done nothing to it yet. But it looks like a bike and that's what I wanted.

Personally I build my own from cheap kits on old relatively cheap bikes and try to keep them looking like bicycles, full suspension and disk brakes though as I go off road a lot. This way the police don't bother me and people mostly unaware that it is an ebike. I stay under 20mph mostly 12 to 16mph, Gotta stay under the radar here in the UK and try to keep everyone happy. My biggest concern is thieves though so no leaving the bike unattended which limits it's usability.

In the part of England I'm from if the police see you on something like a sur ron they instantly think you are selling drugs so I keep to my custom homemade ebike but all that said I really do love the surrons ⚡️🚲✌️👊

Those type of bikes are cop magnets. There is no way they're going to allow you to operate on the highway. but if you truly need a new friend go right ahead . I don't understand this culture of going fast all the time. I take a lot of effort in knowing the bicycling rules and not exceeding certain limits.
