Great video Jake! I wanted to add onto the China mining ban, although many people with money in Cryptocurrencies might think this is a bad thing, I think it will ultimately be a good thing. China already has a pollution problem with the bad air quality, and smog from factories that burn toxic chemicals. So much so that they even are making building-sized structures in the larger 1st teir cities to help reduce the smog. When the ban or regulations for mining hits, this should help the environment over there since there will be less coal burned to create the electricity for miners. There are a few things that will likely happen to the crypto market once this ban occurs; 1. The main miners in China won't be online which will in part result in HIGH FEEs for Bitcoin, since the transactions will be backed up without enough people to help confirm them. (As similarly seen with the recent fee spike with the full blocks full of unconfirmed transactions from this recent Bitcoin Bull run.) 2. As a result of this there will be even more FUD (Fear, uncertainty, and doubt) in the market (as seen in the China cryptocurrency exchange ban from this past late summer, where the price of BTC went from about 7k down to 3k) regardless, the market rebounded to ATH's nearing 20k per BTC in late 2017. 3. Regardless of if the price falls again from the ~$8k it is right now if it might be a result of the China cryptocurrency mining ban, Chinese miners are already in the works with moving their business to the nearby country, Russia with their cold weather and low electricity cost. Also Bitmain which makes Bitcoin mining ASIC’s in China won’t be banned from creating more miners to subsequently sell to the miners, so if the price does “crash” by another 50% more or less, I’ll keep up with putting money from my bi-weekly paycheck and my businesses into Bitcoin at it’s current levels, and double down to put even more in if it falls lower. (For reference I use coinbase to buy bitcoin in smaller increments like $100 at a time: www.coinbase.com/join/576c8bb86bd4be00760008f9 is my referral link which will give both of us $10 upon buying your 1st $100 worth of Bitcoin, think of it as 10% extra with your purchase!) Now about Genesis mining: I am both a gamer and a speculative investor in both cryptocurrencies and Genesis Mining so I understand both sides. There is a big issue with these large scale crypto mining operations where they are buying up pallets of gaming graphics cards that PC gamers such as myself would have loved to buy if the prices were not gouged or out of stock. GPUs such as the Saphire Nitro RX 480’s as seen in the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/apPJdnZ-ndR1eLMm16s (those exact models look to be AMD RX 470 or 480’s which are the most energy efficient and profitable cards) which generate about $4/day more or less at peak mining profitability, USED TO COST $200 BRAND NEW. NOW they are on the market such as on eBay and Amazon for prices upwards of EXCEEDING $500, even USED! These prices are being gouged by people buying them new at retail stores, snagging up all inventory and either putting the GPUs in their mining rigs, or reselling them for absurd prices online. Additionally, these inflated prices trickle down to the lower end graphics cards which then ultimately affects anyone who wants to get into PC gaming or try to upgrade their graphics card, but then can’t due to ridiculous prices. So Genesis mining and other large-scale mining companies are contributing to this graphics card shortage. But this past July I did either a stupid or a great investment of putting about $2k (via my debit card) into a Genesis mining contract. This was a 2 year contract and at the time, DASH (@500ms/ps) was one of the most popular and fastest selling contracts, so I impulse bought it. By the end of the summer I had my 1st deposit of about $550 worth of DASH, and another $400 by October 2017, and another $900 by December all in all it was a decent accidental investment overall, and the conract pays a miniscule $0.65 a day with this terrible profitability, but my total holdings of DASH is about $3500 at current prices, if I sold today, but that’s solely because some of these early payouts from around June/July have 4x’ed in price. So a TLDR: You would most likely make more buying and HODLing one of the coins with a big growth potential rather than mining it yourself, or mining with a 3rd party contractor like Genesis Mining. But if anyone is interested in throwing money towards a cloud mining contract, they can use my Genesis Mining affiliate code: Nn3Q2F when you sign up at www.genesis-mining.com/signup I’ll probably get around to making a video about all this stuff since I think I might have a little bit of input to share, with being in the crypto sphere for around 2 years, as well as building mining rigs and buying/trading cryptocurrencies. Please let me know guys if you're interested!

Forex trading it's a trading platform were you invest with a minimum capital, you predict the outcome of foreign currency if they will either fall or increase, it's like you are placing a bet, but the good thing is that you are knowing the outcome before you predict, that's why profits returns are always on the high, but by doing this, you need an experienced account manager who can help you with the basics and trades for you.

Because you're not wasting it, if you're gaining something from it
@Belzughast7 жыл бұрын
It really depends who you are going to ask. Is mining gold not a huge waste of energy? Well technically yes, and most miners will tell you they barely operate. I personally think cryptos are not scalable at the moment. Bitcoin itself is an 10 years old technology which makes 35% of the market. Furthermore, it's one of a couple of currencies that can be traded back for fiat money. Big changes are coming.
@adrianzsdl19637 жыл бұрын
I used to support BOINC projects (seti@home) where i know why contribute my compute power consumption but mining is for me more like buying 10000$ skin in cs go. God why I'm not smart enough to understand blockchain!
