I think this is a high time for indian drama industry to understand 1. For per drama 30 to 40 episodes are sufficient it makes the story realistic short but sweet as well interesting 2. For per drama using logical tunes as well making separate songs for each drama which is relatable to the drama coz pak can be ahead of india in case of dramas but when it comes to singers even the indians who sing songs on insta are the way more brilliant and extremely talented in majority 3. Choosing good looking actors and actresses with proper professional beautiful makeup and traditional or normal outfits which can make them to loom more and more attractive as well sober to watch instead of being uncomfortable or wearing body revealing clothes which mostly make them to look ugly 4. Make drama according to the social issues , new ideas , with a purpose and message behind everything, without any illogical scene , making scientific logical and technological dramas Every drama should be different from others idea 5. Drama should be comfortable to watch for every edge person without hesitating maybe they can kids teenagers adults young or older and can watch with family together 6. Using a neat clean respectful language not using any abusive or harsh words which are disrespecting to female and feminism ( gaali ) 7. Every religion should be included in dramas and characters so that everyone can feel relatable ( mostly this thing pak turkish as well korean dramas don't do they just focus on one religion this is good chance for india to get audience from every religion 8. No community, gender, beliefs or bodies should harm by sentiments used in dramas 9. Using english subtitle so other countries can also understand 10 . Upload shorts that can go viral and people get more exited 11. Make a proper trailer that people can find drama so much interesting I believe my country had a lot of potential it can do so good than any other country if they follow all these points they can become the best drama industry in the world so i think instead comparing them to any other or judging our own country drama industry we should support a lot if they make good drama and give them a lot of good feedbacks so they can become more motivated to make many more good choices Jay hind 🇮🇳

I am originally from Pakistan but left in 1989. But even back in the 70's and 80's PTV dramas were very good. Indian movies were god back then but when it came to TV serials Pakistanis preferred PTV dramas compared to Indian I think it was called door darshan or something. I guess that trend has continued except it seems like Bollywood has also gone way down the drain. I don't really watch any Pakistani dramas now but I have two cousins, one is an actress and one is a producer in TV programs right now. Interesting commentary. Cheers from Florida.

As a 90's kid, I would say that modern day Pakistani TV Serials are nothing compared to 90's era PTV Serials. The only downside of 90's dramas is lower quality audio and video, as everyone knows that HiFi Stereo Sound & High Definition wasn't available back in the day. But in terms of Cast, Script, Acting & Production,, they were from out of this world.

I am a 55 years old Pakistani. I often see Pakistani Drammas. Some are good, but some are far away from realities and based on commercial needs. For me, the best Pakistani dramas are still of the old PTV era of the 70s, 80s, and very few in the 90s My personal opinion about the most important factor for the success of a drama is it's plot and writing.

I am Indian I like Pakistani drama They are good artists, don't have vulgarity, They reflect Indian culture like Middle class girls earning their money but in Indian TV girl is very poor and married to tich man. She goes to kitchen with heavy jewellers but Pakistani girls are wearing simple clothes. Pakistani actress are not shown as God, they are doing mistakes but Indian heroine is portrayed as Goddess. Indian serial are false ceiling and Pakistani serial are real one.

I think it's about the episode Pakistan Or india has different concept about tv show in India there is 1000 episode concept or in Pakistan has just 30 episode so it's easy to watch or easy to make a story❤

Commenting on the above subject, My be because the Indian drama stories are far from reality. But at the same time they show some realistic scenes as well. For example when a boy falls in love with a girl he wishes to hug her, kiss her, Indian medea will not stop him doing that. Similarly at times the girl has the the urge to hug her lover, In India she'll do it. In Pakistan social taboos will never let this happen on the TV screen. In India sometimes the couples are shown sleeping together keeping decency, kissing while in bed. In Pakistan if this happens the girl probably will not be allowed to go back home. All in all there are good and bad points in both. Why are Pakistani dramas so popularly in India. Well one reason is that the duration of the whole serial is mostly short. story is very close to reality. The dialogues are very well written. The lighting system is superb. The diection is of highest quality. All these may be because the Pakistani crew are highly trained. Most of them are degree holders from abroad.
