Now i understand why they look like Indian. Long ago, probably 10 years back, i came across a girl on FB that lived in the US but looked Indian and had pics with white girls, however her background was Guyana on her profile. Suddenly, there were so many questions in my mind. Being an Indian, I had never heard of Guyana before, but i found the answer down the line, as I grew interest in Geography.

Marriage is overrated everywhere in the world. You can live happily ever after without being married. Everytime I see someone getting married, I always know at least 75 percent of them will get divorced, or the man will abuse his wife and children. Check the statistics people.

@@izatrini439 Marriage is one of the many, many blessings from God. If you don't have God, then marriage becomes a curse! Iam not traditional & iam not religious, so for me, marriage is a huge blessing. There is nothing more fulfilling than raising children & family! If you don't have God in you, you do not have love & marriage is not of the devil & not for you. If one is a beast, a lion or a tiger or some snake, then know.that beasts & wild animals don't marry!

@simendanamakando768 No one in my family is married, just my parents. As far as children are concerned, there are lots of children in orphanages that need to be cared for. I am not marriage and I adopted 5 children. So everything you are saying can be accomplished without marriage. Different strokes for different folks. Sure, marriage is a blessing, but it is NOT demamanded by God. Nothing in this life is a demand except love for all human beings.

@@izatrini439 Since you adopted children, I presume it's out of love & I salute you for that. If none of you in your family is married, there could be a reason . . .& on the other I feel for your.parents as they deserve grand children.. If all of you siblings do not wish to get married, there could be some curse following.you. I commend you for adopting but there is nothing better than one's own children, unless of course there is some underlining medical or other reason.

1. The main reason is the grabbing of everything by the relatives of husband from widow in case of death of husband. 2. The widow is taken by the brother of husband after his death . 3 The cleansing ceremony. 4. The influx of in laws from the side of husband with out notice . These are the main reasons I can see.

It's simple, we Indians are inherently speaking, culturally very different than say other Caucasians( both Arabs and Europeans) and Africans, very unique be it history, culture, ideology everything, like the Chinese from the beginning itself. We are somewhat midway, rivaling the Chinese in filial piety but impulsive like the West, diversified like the Africans. Of course, we have large minorities of Muslims and Christians, owing to our history which bear similarities to the aforesaid groups, but the core culture is still very very different. Usually, couples originating from totally distant cultures fail to inculcate good values in their child leading to confusion of race and identity. Of course, only true love and perseverance can negate all these things, but in general, Indians generally would like to marry within their own culture. This can also be because of the less number of Indian natives in African countries overall. Personally I can't say for all Indians, but frankly speaking, African cultures like any other countries are very foreign to us due to negligible exposure, except American ones.

Garima, a lot of thanks to you for this video. I was born in Barisal- a riverine district of southern Bangladesh. Now I'm nearing 60. Since my boyhood the landscape of our locality and the rest of Bangladesh has gone through a phenomenal change in the negative sense of the term. Greenary is vanishing rapidly as urbanity as urbanity has gnawed at the heart of virgin nature. The village where I was born and I'm in love with is difficult to recognize now. I've been looking for my childhood love - the vast expanse of greenary, the gurgling river, cottonwool clouds pacing the sky and the like - and your video has led my down the memory lane. Thanks

The Indian population in African countries is very small, so they tend to stick together. Also, the majority of Indians interact with only poor Africans on the continent due to the kind of trade they do. Here in the UK, Indians are married to black people.

Thank you for showing that we Africans are welcoming people,I understand wherever we go in this world, there are good people and bad ones,so let's not let the bad ones affect our thinking towards others. Actually we love Indian Culture and we have some common with them. Again there's diversity in Africa also. I'm a Sudanese studying in Punjab. One thing people back home worry about is racism but to be honest racism is personal illness. I don't think the whole country is racist. I have so many friends I met in my college from Punjab, Bihar,UP,Rajesthan and many other states.Very good friends to me and they were very curious to know more me. One thing most African students here suffer and hate is staring. But to be honest, most of those staring are not bad intentions they're just amazed to see people different from them. That's curiosity, just give them a simple Hello and you will see the smile. As boy,one of my Punjabi friend and a classmate who is a girl once came to my school with her parents,so she called me and told me to go and meet her parents. I was really worried because I don't know how the parents will react😂. At first I thought of not going, but the girl insisted and I thought if I don't go,then they may think I have bad intentions. So I ventured and went, met the parents. They were so welcoming and even pleaded me to have a lunch with them in a restaurant in my University.. I felt that good people are really there. So my African brothers, let's not think Indians are racists, racism is sickness of individuals. Wherever you go in this world, discipline, respect are the most valuable things to have in order to live in a society. Love to all good Indians.🇮🇳

First of all, I appreciate you posting a vlog as a single traveling lady. I have a few reservations too. Why are you so particular about such a division of south Indian and north Indian about the temple and the property. Treat it as a Hindu temple, and we are one as a nation. Secondly, please do not take the camera inside. It is not acceptable to show disrespect to all those who are doing their prayers.

My mom is Indian and married a white man. I am very light skin, and my brother is as black as tar. In my opinion, there is no difference between an Indian and a black man/woman. My mom follows her culture, but my brother and I do not follow her culture. We respect her culture and her religion, but we are not forced to follow anything. There are lots of Indian women in my country who marry black/African men men. No one cares in my country. Religion and politics, and caste systems always segregate people from each other. I personally do not follow or participate in these things. I don't care who runs a country. If your country has poverty high/low percentage consistently then your government is not worth voting for, it is a simple plan to get rid of poverty, but every government is greedy and there is no monetary gain for them to get rid of poverty. That being said, love your fellow human beings, everyone!

Why would anyone want to marry someone or anyone who is more interested in marrying outside of their culture, race or ethnicity. If one has less love or interest with your own, then it is extremely possible to grow to have less love for others. As an African American, I say to love yourself and your own, and others will see Worth in you even when you have no desire to want them.

I lived in Lusaka ,Zambia for over an year and I loved the local zambians.Indians living there fall into few categories. Most of the Indian professionals are from the south ,small time jobs for indian owers are mainly from the north. The rich and influential bissness class people are mainly the Patels .The local hate them to the core ,they are the main exploiters of poor middle class zambians. They have medium to small scale shops all over Zambia and they sell worst third quality stuff at very high price. All the shopkeepers are united in pricing and they sell on credits. The first instalment will cover the real cost and profit of the item itself but the innocent Zambians are trapped to keep paying more installments. Most of the shop are run on bank credits and all ,I mean all the shop owners have a second passport to countries like Canada. The idea is in a riot like situation by the locals ,and if they burn the shops only the bank will lose and they will take the next flight to Canada or else where.Local born indian have no allegiance to Zambia they are there to expliot the Zambians. children study in british schools ,and higher studies in England ,if they fall sick will call air ambulance from South Afrika. Some of the Patels have a indian wife and a local Zambian wife whose children Indians will never own.Iam stopping now but I have more stories.

Sad and accurate, there are other nationalities too doing the same things. If Africans don't wake up they will be recolonised by economics. The problem is capital, our banks cannot fund businesses at a fair interest rate, and our populations don't have mass formal employment to contribute to the banking sector, so we don't get the advantages outside sub Saharan Africa.we Africans need to come together to invest in production in agriculture and industrial mineral conversion from raw state to manufactured goods, but for that to happen, African governments need to prioritise areas of infrastructural investment, this is hard to do in a democracy, asoon as a president neglects one area for another he gets political pressure from his opposition. An example if a country should focus on agriculture, and build roads and send electricity to that area, the other areas will cry they are being cheated,so what happens is the small resources are spread all around, so nothing big can happen, poverty is just spread all over, then the ruling classes just look out for themselves as the national cake is not big enough .

@@AF-yq9es you can know Indians in one day:-Even though they live in USA for many years but still wear made in India unfashionable clothes tailored by their mohalla Darzee, they wait endlessly on the bus stops waiving bus schedule in their hand and still take the wrong bus. Their total shopping consists of buying only that food from a local Indian store which their wide had not brought back from India….needs more, later…..their social activities included eating home cooked food in a park.
