In Quran u are not allowed to put makeup on and nail polish. Just like how you are not allowed to remove hijab .
@luvsid4 жыл бұрын
@@lalagirl211 that's actually not true. In Islam, you're allowed to wear makeup in front of certain males and all women. You're also allowed to put on nailpolish when you're not praying like when you have your period If you study Islam, it's actually a pretty easy religion and not meant to be as restrictive as people make it out to be

Ameena...that was heartbreaking what she did...may Allah guide us all to be better muslims and strengthen our Faith
@zaynabdaniyal43164 жыл бұрын
But heartbreaking how? Personally i been a hijabi since I was 14,im 22 now. It was my choice to wear it and I have to admit when I seen the likes of people such as dina tokio, her sister and even her mother and amena taking the hijab off at first I felt angry and why wouild someone want to do that. But after I realised why am I angry and why am I judging others or disappointed that others are doing these kind of things? Everyone has there own imperfections, I wear hijab and abaya and I have to admit even with that I still miss my salah, I still get lazy because I am a mum and a wife now, I've had times where I've wanted to take my hijab off even though I love it, every single girl who wears hijab gets those feelings. My point is just because she took her hijab off doesn't make her any less Muslim that the rest of us sister. Hijab isn't just about covering the hair it's about how we dress and act and speak also. And atleast she is not doing it behind closed doors like a lot of women do now a days, wearing the hijab at certain times then removing it behind closed doors, just because we see a women wearing hijab or abaya or niqab doesn't mean they are better than someone with out as we don't know truly what people do behind closed doors, it's not for us to judge that's why it's only for Allah to judge because we don't truly know what goes on with other people. No matter how disappointed you or anyone feels she's made her decision and she's not going to change it so there's no point for all the hate and disappointment towards her we should just make dua. But I really wish people would understand that just because a woman wears a hijab it doesn't mean she is "better" than someone without it, you don't know what goes on in people's personal life.

I I'm in no way attacking Ameena...I was her loyal subscriber and I watched her content a lot...I understand that she has her reasons as to why she did that...I consider the Hijab a very important aspect of my life...its like the story of candy on the floor, one wrapped and one unwrapped...given the option everyone chose the wrapped candy....that should show you how precious our Hijabs make us...Ya Allah guide us all.
@zaynabdaniyal43164 жыл бұрын
@@phatmerally8105 no I never said you was attacking her, I just meant at the end of the day I have a lot of respect for her doing that so openly expecially in the society she is with alot of followers, we have to understand that now a days the hijab is forced upon alot of young girls, or even if a girl wants to take her hijab of she can't because of the fear of "what are people going to think or say" so they keep it on to please people rather than for the right reason to please Allah and out of fear of Allah. so even though I was shocked at first myself and was angry how can someone just take off there scarf I have respect for her, making such a big decision Infront of such a big audience knowing very well she will get attacked for it(I'm not saying you, I seen a lot of vile comments on her video) in my honest opinion I generally do not see the point of someone being "forced" to wear hijab or keep wearing the hijab to please people as there isn't a point to it if your just wearing it out of fear of what people will think if you take it off, that's wearing it for the wrong reason, in my opinion she has probably been wanting to take it off for a long time but hasn't out of fear of what people would say and loosing followers, I understand people being angry but I don't even understand why people have unfollwed her, we should try and help people instead of judging and attacking anf as I said make dua for the person. As I said I'm a hijabi myself, I am not defending amenas decision to take it off or say what she is done is right, I've only said it's her choice, yes Islam says we have to wear it but even in Islam nobody is forced to do anything we are allowed to choose what's right and wrong out of our own free will. Plus my main point of my comment was to say that just because a girl is wearing a hijab doesn't mean she is better than a Muslim girl without a hijab, only Allah knows what goes on behind closed doors and hijab isn't just about covering the hair it's about the way we act speak and what we wear also, even in our days even girls who do wear hijab they are not wearing it with the proper dress, amena wasn't really wearing the "proper" hijab to begin with,if you think about it as you said the story about the wrapped and unwrapped candy, these girls are wearing hijab with very tight clothing with there whole body shape on display, is that still "wrapped" with the whole body shape and breast size on display? In our lifetime there is lots of tests which will either bring us closer to Allah or take us away, out of our own choices and free will. Unfortunately now a days this is what happens when hijabis find fame,and then they pass it onto there followers who are young girls and it just goes on.
@MANAL834 жыл бұрын
@@zaynabdaniyal4316 sister some of the things you said are not Islamically correct. You said it's better for someone to take off the hijab instead of wearing it in some places and taking it off in other places. That statement is incorrect because since the hijab is mandatory the one that has it on 50% of the time only collects sins when the hijab is off. While the one that has it off 100% of the time collects sins all the time. And in terms of being an influencer the burden is greater as their actions will influence other girls and they will share in the sins of those whom they've influenced. That's why in Islam a sin done in secret is better than one advertised in public. May Allah guide us all.

I remember back then... my greatgranma told me that middleeast women used to wear whatever they can but modest dress. And they elected this man; i forgot his name and change the way middle east live. All islam followed his ways and laws. Also if u really dig in the quran putting makeup on is a big nono and nail polish on is a big no no in islam religion Remember ur muslim because ur parents are both muslim. Same goes to other religion. They r jew,christian, buddhist because of their parents. Their parents did not give their kids a chance to choose a religion of their own

Take it one step at a time first dress modestly,and then maybe wear the turban, and then you can start wearing the hijab during Ramadan, and inshaAllah after all of these steps you will be a full time hijabi. Remember to make lots of dua so that Allah can make it easy for you. And always keep in mind that you want to wear the hijab in order to please Allah and you never know when death will come.

After I got married, I took my hijab off and I finally found myself to be happier. I have now found love for islam and I believe that I am now more of a muslim than I ever was before. When I made a video expressing my thoughts without bashing or being even slightly rude about anyone taking their hijab off, a blogger who removed her hijab around a year ago BLOCKED me. I didn’t even mention her name, but I think there is a lot of insecurity in that decision and as shocked as I was (I mean I had followed her from day one and supported her regularly engaged with her content etc) I realised that to take someone else’s opinion as hateful and personally as she did, reflects much greater on her than on me. I applaud the was your sole about this, it is NOT easy to discuss without a few fragile ego being hurt! This was so refreshing to listen to and well articulated. It’s so difficult to express a moral opinion without being shunned as “haram police” and people refuse to listen to the voice of morality as it often makes them feel judged. I think we need to be clear on what our religion has recommended and expects of it’s followers and not blur the lines as it doesn’t change from person to person. The message is one and clear but people have interpreted it in their own way to justify their actions and then shying away from the responsibility they have towards the public as a person of significant importance. You made your stance very clear without sugar coating the truth and I really respect that. Obviously we have to respect one another and not alienate anyone over the choices they make, but it’s also important to pray that whatever journey they’re on, they find their way back to the straight path 🤲🏻❤️

The first time I went to the US at the age of 22, I was walking with my friend to buy food, she's Muslim too but didn't wear the hijab. It wasnt so crowded but this gentleman decided to excuse himself and walk in between us, turned around and greeted salaam to me alone. I felt a huge sense of the Islamic brotherhood 🥰

Basic Criteria for being A Muslim is not hijab . Actually hijab has no importance in Islam . It is a women's choice whether wear hijab or not to wear hijab . Wearing hijab only becomes obligatory when Praying Salah 5 times a day . Other then that a woman can wear whatever she likes . I will quote 3 Quran Verses and 2 Sahih Hadith's . Almighty ALLAH says in The Quran : " There is no compulsion in religion " . Reference : Surah Al Baqarah , Verse 256 . Almighty ALLAH says in The Quran : " And ALLAH has not laid upon you in religion any hardship " . Reference : Surah Al Hajj , Verse 78 . Almighty ALLAH says in The Quran : " So do not claim yourselves to be pure ; He is most knowing of who fears Him " . Reference : Surah An Najm , Verse 32 . Hadith of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) : Narrated by Abu Huraira (R.A.) : The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights." . Reference : Sahih Al Bukhari : Volume 1 , Book 2 , Hadith 39 . Hadith of Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) : Narrated by Anas bin Malik (R.A.) : The Prophet ﷺ said, "Make things easy for the people, and do not make it difficult for them, and make them calm (with glad tidings) and do not repulse (them )." . Reference : Sahih al-Bukhari, 6125 • Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Book of Good Manners, Hadith 146 • Sahih al-Bukhari, Book of Good Manners, Hadith 146 . These 3 Quran Verses and These 2 Authentic Sahih Hadith's are a proof that hijab is just a choice . It is A Muslim Woman's choice whether to wear or not to wear .

Assalam alaikum everybody. From a Muslim perspective: Whom are the ex-hijabi KZbinrs trying to appeal to? Why? Why have they turned their backs on their sisters? I feel saddened and a little betrayed. I feel like sisters are being pummelled from all sides (politics, media, even from inside our communities) and we've lost some of our allies. Hijab isn't just a fashion statement or a piece of clothing; it's a piece of identity. How can they cast it off so easily? But from a marketing perspective. Social media and youtube is becoming increasingly fragmented. It would seem that youtubers who've taken off their hijab are simply trying to appeal to a different niche than the one they had. So yes, I totally agree with sister Zukhreat. There are some who have taken it off, but hijabis online are very much still strong Alhamdulillah. We should continue to strongly support each other insha Allah.

When ppl ask me be it hijabi or non muslims about why I don’t wear... I said it’s because Im scared that I will become arrogant and look down on others who don’t wear which is common in my country. That judgemental look. That holier than thou look. It leaves a bad taste in the mouth for Muslims to bring down other Muslims that silent way. People don’t really understand riak and it’s something I want to avoid completely if I ever wear the hijab. Maybe I am thinking Too much but I really am scared of becoming riak and losing all my deeds.That fine line between arrogance and being proud. Proud is inner and arrogance is outer projection of ego. there are a few hijabi out there who really hate it when they have to act / talk a certain way when they wear the “muslimah uniform”. That just baffles me, if one wears the hijab but is rude, foul mouthed, catcalls men, unhygienic, backbites, anything unpleasant basically then have they read the Quran or hadith at all about the etiquette prescribed by Allah? Also is one still holier than me simply because they don the hijab on the head yet not in spirit? Being muslim has qualities beyond the outer covering... I have plans to wear it one day nonetheless. The urge gets stronger year by year and I cry mixed feelings maybe (fear and happiness??) imagining that fine day that I will finally don the hijab.

You hit it on the head zukreat, this is what the hijab is, it's wearing your religion outside, being proud of your religion, showing Allah SWT that you want to be a part of this beautiful ummah. Hijab isn't a fashion statement and to be honest, I don't wear hijab but I dress quite modestly, the hijab is a way to showcase your religion and be closer to Allah SWT. When I do choose to wear the hijab, it'll be for my religion and deen, for my life and death and not for anybody else but Allah SWT.

Yet you didn’t address something called personal struggle (jihad al nafs) you read a verse from the Quran but you didn’t continue to the verse where it says hide your beauty and only show it to your mahrams. You’re talking about platforms and influence where you come on with layers of makeup, nose done, lashes on. Tight top then say you bring your cap forward so that your baby hair doesn’t show!!!?!? We are all humans and we all have our struggles, if we become softer and kinder towards each other and not come on to criticise others then we would give a good rep of our deen. Be kind to your fellow youtubers because you could in that situation one day. Stop judging indirectly because everyone has their own struggle. Modesty isn’t just about covering your hair. Hijab isn’t the only way to represent sisterhood. Grow your minds and accept people’s changes. Peace out!

When it comes to making choices - hijab should trump fashion and money every single time. Hijab is a form of ibadah

I’m not sure about what the purpose of this video. Is it to say ‘these you tubers who took of their hijab, shame on you?’ There are some different opinions (granted not the majority) that hijab isn’t completely mandatory. If they believe this, who are we to speculate on their choice? There are many different opinions in islam on issues like this. I’m not sure why you would make a video calling this out publicly. Wouldn’t it be better to reach out privately to them directly if you wanted to give caring advice?

Because more influencers are the one who are now making the movement of taking the Hijab off and influencing ppl when its. A personal choice & effecting their oudince for her to talk about such a thing its to bring light that this movement shouldn’t change the main reason why we embrace Hijab its a choice and it comes with obligations needs to be followed and if you choose to there is no wrong in what you decided to do , as in one influencer’s decision is for them its not to question you as a hijabi because hijab is a lifestyle its how we choose to live as simple as that

Religion is a deep and personal matter. If wearing a hijab makes you happier, more comfortable and closer to your beliefs, what anyone else thinks shouldn't matter. The same goes for choosing not to wear one. Everyone worships their god and loves their religion their way. At the end of the day it's clothing and its symbolism and meaning is different to every individual. No one should be judged for it. It's wrong to make people feel like they aren't part of their community and religion for what they choose to wear or not wear.

Really glad you made this video. You definitely gleaned more about her reasons from her video than I could make out! It didn't make any sense to me no matter how many times I watched it. I think it's important to hold people accountable, especially if the road to them becoming an influencer was from selling hijabs in the first place! I remember you addressing it on Snapchat when another 'influencer' removed theirs a few years back as well. Thank you x

Thank you Zukreat for taking the time to share your perspective and words of advice. It's certainly not a definitive journey for us Hijabis... we have days when we feel proud to wear our crown and other days we struggle. Your video has served as a comforting reminder on a day when i'm struggling to be a person that feels worthy of representing my faith through wearing hijab. I choose to wear my hijab and I feel strong, I feel proud and I feel fortunate to be Muslim xx

Thank you for this video. I am 26 and started wearing my hijab last year during Ramadan. Watching so many influential hijabs taking them off made me question myself. Then I reminded myself that I was doing it for Allah and no one else. Not everyone is strong and some will be easily influenced just like I nearly was but Alhamdulillah I wasn't. Thank you for speaking out xx

You go girl... بارک اللہ فیک ♥️ May Allah reward you for speaking out the truth out there where everyone is using the "freedom of speech" to do whatever one wants but at the same time they bash the individual who speaks for Islam. May Allah protect you and keep you steadfast ❤️

I don’t know if you remember this but about 20 years ago (roughly) France banned some forms of the hijab in classrooms and other public contexts. I think at that time the purpose of the ban was to satisfy two groups, those trying to be aggressive toward terrorism and the far left trying to “elevate Muslim women who were being oppressed”. I must point out that this is how France’s effort was represented in American media at the time. Thankfully the effort fell flat because banning the hijab clearly doesn’t lessen terrorism or help Muslim women. I remember this because your comments remind me of how the social pendulum swings from one side to the other on so many topics. Because of the ever changing attitudes on a variety of issues, we as individuals need to decide on what the core factors of our identity need to be. Doing so serves as a solid psychological foundation for ourselves as well as giving credibility to those who have a presence on social media platforms. There’s nothing wrong with exploring trends but one must take time to consider whether a trend serves them well or is just another effort of others to cash in. I guess my main point is that integrity never goes out of fashion.

Hi u are stronger than me I removed hijab solely because of the weight of judgement and pressure I Miss it I adored it!!!!! I did it for most of my teen to adult life *against* my father's wishes who would taunt me trying to get me to abandon it (contrary to what Western ppl usually think) .. but enough was enough life gets so difficult and ifeven Muslims aren't there for you when you need it... But yeah I would love to start again but I know the same judgement and projection of things will start so I can't do that to myself... I adore it it feels so peaceful and soothing bless you for being strong enough

I'm a firm believer in ENVIRONMENT. A Muslim woman needs to be in an environment where her eman is constantly refreshed with meaningful reminders and strong models to look up to. Think about it, in Muslim countries where all women cover, those women will find little struggle in covering. Living in the west we have to at least make our homes in an Islamic environment because our kids will be affected too. Surround yourself with strong eman people and environment and it'll be easy

But why do you think you have the right to judge anyone . To make a video directed on someone in particular and even those how might not ware the hijab makes you just the same as those who backbite . You didn’t even need to make it public you should have reached out privately!
@hazeleyes90984 жыл бұрын
My thoughts exactly, she comes across very angry and almost as if she about to cry, it annoys me that people think it’s okay to judge others, everyone goes through a certain experience with the hijab and if they choose not to wear it that’s their choice not others
@hellazul30524 жыл бұрын
Mashallah your videos are very nice, with hijab one must also wear modest clothes which do not show the shapes of our body, its something I am working on myself. Also we dont need to Express ourselves with they way we dress but with our actions and manners. Also I am trying to not wear makeup with it. Welldone for what you said.
@minamilly7774 жыл бұрын
Says a woman with tight clothing and a face full of makeup! A cloth does not represent the hijab. There's more to it than that. I really dislike these sort of videos. Its not your business what others do only they can walk in their shoes only they know what they are going through. Wearing a hijab does not guarantee you a place in jannah sweetie.

So true, it’s so obvious that she has directed this video to Amena, it annoys me that hijabis seem to think they are perfect and quick to point fingers at others choice of clothing

Thank you for this video, though theres more to hijab as the verse refers to an outer garment on top of your clothes - Abaya/Jilbab with the extension of hijab as Christian and Jewish women used wear a scarf without covering their bosoms. This command was next in line. What many "influencers" dont realise is that their actions are having an impact on others. Subconsciously, we do copy anyone we look upto its not something you can refrain from especially when your minds visually processing this. We should look up to better models - ideal Muslimahs of Islam such as the wives of Prophet pbuh and the Prophet pbuh himself. May Allah swt enable us to be better in everyway and to become good role models for our children Ameen.

Thank you SO much Zukreat. I started wearing Hijab after being inspired by the KZbinr (Who has recently removed hijab) and recently I have been wanting to remove it too... I can't blame her or anyone else for my desire to do so but I do feel like she was one of the people who inspired me to keep it on. Anyway now I came across your video and want to thank you for giving me the motivation again to keep it on. May Allah bless you and may Allah help our sisters through their hijab struggle.

Eid Mubarak zukreat!! Love this so much. You are an inspiration MashaAllah. I hope we will see more hijabis in business, sport, fashion... It has been a dream of mine for a while to be a pilot. Well my original dream at the age of 7 was to be the first hijabi astronaut. This was laughed at and I never believed it would be possible. I still dreamed about it and it was only a few years ago that I started to think about the next best thing.. pilot! I don't think I've seen any British Muslim hijabi pilot. Female pilots are rare anyway but a hijabi pilot from UK would be so empowering. Anyway it's a dream that I hope can be a reality soon! At this age and time in my life I don't feel hijab will be a barrier for any dream to come true as I once used to. When there is the almightys will, there is a way.. Insha Allah. Xx
