I don’t think he puts that much importance on getting married (or the institution of it). I think he wants the long term commitment. A lifelong partner. He may get married to his forever person eventually, but marriage is a piece of paper and isn’t all that important/harped on in Swedish culture. He definitely wants kids, but he’s still waiting to find the right person, and I’m not convinced he is going to find that person in the entertainment industry. I think it’s more likely that he will end up with someone who is not in the public eye. He wants someone down to earth and who he can have an actual family life with, not all in the public eye. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for and I really hope he finds it. Everything that I know of him says he’s a great man, so he definitely deserves it.

Nobody should get married if they don't value the institution of marriage. Marriage is hard. I know, I've been married for thirty years. If marriage doesn't mean much to you then you absolutely will fail at it because it is so hard. You have to value the sanctity of marriage in order to have a long, fruitful marriage. Don't marry if you don't feel the same, or have a good divorce attorney all lined up before you take the plunge.

What I meant though is that take my situation for example: I'm Catholic, and in my religion divorce isn't recognized or okay, so if I blew it with my husband then I'd be going against my church and I wouldn't be able to remarry in the church again. I'd also probably be kicked out of it. Now, I'm not that religious, spiritual yes for sure, but I don't regularly attend anymore but I do have a healthy respect for marriage, so I'm likely to work harder before I ever divorced. That's really all I meant. I think many jump into marriage too fast and then also jump out of marriage too fast too. That shows lack of respect for marriage on both counts. That's why ya see people with four failed marriages and planning their fifth wedding. It's ridiculous. It's better to wait until you are sure ya met Mr. or Mrs Right, and then wait longer before taking the plunge. To each his/her own though.

It is not customary to get married early in northern Europe. They don’t take it so seriously, it’s not uncommon for women and men over the age of 40 to start building a family. The perception is different than in the US.

I get that but it’s really hard for many women to get pregnant naturally after 40. Not everyone wants to chance it with IVF price/medical intervention. So while yes, pregnancies happen in the 40s for some women- it is not the scientific norm. You are considered a “geriatric pregnancy” at 35! My first husband, my daughters father, and I along with his wife and our daughter are all shared a three bedroom apartment after I left the Air Force. I had moved from Florida to Washington state to move back home and my place that I was going to be living at fell through so I had nowhere to go. And I had called him to taking our daughter for a bit for me to figure things out and they offered to let me stay. She and I became great friends she was in the delivery room when my son was born. Her kids have called me mom My Kids called her mom it’s all good. It’s taken many years but my second husband and I are able to talk and have conversations. Any man saying he wants 8 kids is huge red flag!! No wonder he is still single.That's probably why that girl fled for the hills. For me, it's a sign that this person is unrealistic, egotistic and selfish. It's purely a vanity project for him because despite being extremely wealthy, there is no way he'd have the time to be there and raise all those kids. It'll most likely be left to the woman and any help they can hire because of his busy career and lifestyle. He's not even thinking of the toll that can take on the woman's body. Wtf women aren't baby making factories and child birth is actually very hard on the body. Then there's the fact that he's almost 46 and still doesn't really know what he wants, he wants children but also loves his lifestyle and career. Yet, he naively still believes in the concept of finding the one. There is no such thing! We fans love these actors/actresses but when you actually hear them speak in person, most of them are actually empty headed, superficial and not as attractive as they appear.
