Yes the pay wic we get is not 1/4 of the surgeon..even our work is equally important

As a patient not known much about the medical background, but as a female knows the value of anaesthesia. Because if anaesthesia goes wrong the effects the surgery and life long of the patient. The govt and medical council gove the choice to patient to choose his anaesthia doctor along with surgeon.

Sir well spoken. But all this is going to take years to benefit us. Also I don't understand this, at a few places the surgeon decides the method of anaesthesia that must be administered to the patient and sometimes he may also decide the drug. I'm sure that the surgeon would not have studied the pharmacology of the drug nor does he even know the dose of it. It's just pure surgeon supremacy over here in India and this is not going to end soon. No wonder Anaesthesiologists want to leave India and practice elsewhere, where this beautiful field is valued.

Hello sir, I am from Andhra. I want to take up anesthesia sir. I may get a seat in BMCRI/ Mysore/ tata memorial apart from my state clgs. Is it worth leaving my state to join these clgs sir or should I just join here( AMC/ SVIMS/Osmania)

Don't study in your state, it's always better to study in a different state and different culture. You will become a different person and you will learn new languages which helps you in long run. College wise all these are almost same, no major difference

You will be paid on par with post MD students in that hospital, duration of fellowship is 1 yr

If your in a bigger setups , both of them will have shift based work. In small setups they need to finish cases so it gets late every day
