Why is Bangkok THE BEST CITY TO LIVE in 2024?

From a local perspective let me add 1 important thing here: service. For intance, you go to hospitals or restaurants and 99% you will find friendly faces and very helpful services anywhere.

Back in Jan '01, I flew back to Oz from BKK telling myself that I needed to try someplace new. 12 months later, I flew out of Jakarta with a new appreciation for just what traffic gridlock at midnight felt like. Sure, that can happen on Suk but in Jakarta it can happen miles from the CBD. I'm also in awe of just how eerie Bangkok feels when most of the town goes home for Songkran. I lived off Suk for 8 months but it wouldn't be my first choice if I went back to Asia - even Chiang Mai seems lost to the traffic demon.

Cost of living for rich people like you I guess. Because I lived 10 months in Bangkok and You can pay 300 dollars per month for a condo. Even less even much lees if you are not super near the center.
