I've handled these and they look incredible in the flesh. Thing about Bell & Ross designs are that they aren't mass appealing. They are so iconic in their design that, as others have said, makes them an acquired taste. I, for one, love what they are doing, even if they fall above my price point. As for their pricing, most of their clients aren't exactly looking for the 'value' purchase. They're looking for something completely different, which is exactly what the brand offers. Plus, while their entry level pieces offer Sellita calibers, they do have models with Kenissi, as well as manufacture movements on their ultra high-end pieces. It's still a young brand and could take a while before being properly understood. They've got a lot of work to do till then.

I own two B&Rs neither of which are square: the Garden Cotes V2-92 and the BR V2-94 Racing Bird. Both are gorgeous and unlike anything else out there.

I pretty like the ceramic non-skeleton version. In my opinion the case and bracelet are finished to almost RO level , which is probably the best among all ceramic watches.

Square watches is a like it or leave it design. I am on the leave it side. Thought i do like their BR V2 Chrono round watches, but can justify buying a B & R over an Omega Speedmaster.

Different type of watch for different people I suppose. It's not like the PO and this B&R are similar enough that you would have a touch choice. They're totally different serving very different audiences, in my opinion.

Black pvd on the buckle is a no go for me: scratches !

I don’t disagree that the Speedmaster is a more appealing option in general, but it’s so dramatically different that it’s a little crazy to suggest that. That’s like saying oh you want a blue shirt get a green one instead. They’re not targeting the same audience.

I was just looking at the Seiko SilverWave 2628 and was reminded of "cockpit" style watches which b&r made into a whole brand. Very overrated and gimmicky. Like a baby RM.

What watches that cost around $10,000 end up aren’t perceived as overprice? Maybe there’s a few exceptions but buying large luxury watches aren’t value propositions are they?
