Cosori all the way , especially with a square or rectangle basket , round baskets are just not good when you have to do bacon or square slice , sausage rolls , etc , I always cook between 10% -15% under the cooking and heating times , and it works out great , quick 1 minute blast at the end for crispiness if needed

A couple of years ago I gave in to people telling me I needed an air fryer so purchased the cheapest one I could find (£30 from asda) and it was a revolution for me! It cuts cooking time by 40%ish , is super easy to clean and cooks loads of the things I like very well indeed. I am now desperate for it to break down so I can go buy one of those two drawer ninjas but the bloody thing just keeps going and going.

If I was you Gaz stick to ninja you tried it before it’s reliable and make sure you get it from John Lewis because they give you free guarantee basically any electrical internal fault within the 2 year time period they’ll replace it for you free of charge and as as air air fryers go why don’t you get the ninja air fryer and grill I have got it and personally it does the job it even has a grill so you can use your current one just as a primary pressure cooker and the ninja grill / air fryer as an air fryer or grill it also bakes aswell so if your good lady wanted to make a small bit of pastry/bread she can with this At end of the day like you rightfully said it’s your money your the wisest what you see fit get Gaz and I wish you all the best so keep up us updated but don’t forget get it from John Lewis this guarantee thing is key Cheers

@@debeeriz I think you need to cut the potatoes a bit smaller. I don't usually cook pots in the slow cooker as I like them roasted, but I put other root veg in with pork or chicken, and they cook perfect. I cooked some pork shoulder steaks in cider and an oxo cube with leeks, swede and carrots and it made my mouth have an orgasm.

Also there is loads of reviews on this Ninja foodi max 9.5 litre and this model comes out number one on nearly all reviews out there for all Air fryers out there. Also you have easy to use controls pretty much the same as your old Ninja you have but a bit bigger. It has a round dial to turn too max crisp for beautiful crackling on pork or anything else then Air Fry then Roast then Bake for cakes etc then A reheat setting and finally a Dehydrate setting six settings in total which is all you need for everything. And you time and temperature settings on each side and like i said your Sync button and Match button easy to use and easy instructions even easy for the kids or teenagers to use nothing complicated easy lay out. Just thought id add this second message as every bit helps to choosing the right Air fryer i took 9 months of reviews to pick this Air fryer as like yku said ot can be a nightmare to choose one as there is so many ti choise from. Also this one is real quality made. Don't know what I'd do without it now i think a must for every kitchen whether its for one or a family. Saves a lot on electric as i said and cooks faster than a oven bye far at least 20 minutes with faster cooking times a small chicken 1.6 in weight takes about a hour but uses a lot less electrichalf an hour each side i cook the back first half an hour then turn over half way threw for half an hour for a beautifully cooked crispy skin golden brown chicken smells beautiful in the kitchen and plenty of juices for a beautiful chicken stock for your gravy yum yum. Making me hungry telling you about it. Anyway hope these 2 messages helped you mate. Plenty of informarion about this product on KZbin or anywhere else out there. Take care as i said and all the best to you and your family. ❤❤❤

I considered buying an airfryer but they were so small. I eventually settled on a halogen oven which has a 12 litre capacity or 17 litre with the expander ring.and for under £40 was much cheaper too. Another advantage is the glass bowl and lid so you can see the food cooking [or burning] It cooks a whole pizza, whole chicken plus vegetables or chips at the same time.

Just relying on an; "Air Fryer" would never do for me! I cook four meals a day; Breakfast, Dinner, Tea, and Supper, with my mid-day Dinner being my main meal of the day. For that, I have always used my Gas Cookers; High-level Grill for toasting stuff, four mid-Gas Burners for all my multiple Pots and Pans, and the bottom Gas Oven for all my Roasting! To time everything correctly for the meal I need 3-4 saucepans on the go, with Boiled Potatoes, Boiled Fresh Vegetables, and Boiled Gravy, with a spare burner for warming my Dinner Plates placed over the grill. Meat/Pies, etc, will go in the Gas oven for however long it takes to roast, and everything has to be "timed" independently! I cannot imagine a single "Air Fryer" being able to perform all those separate timings and temperature requirements! My trusty Gas Cooker and Kitchen Timer are on the go, all day long, serving all my daily needs! As long as the Gas Man supplies me with Gas, I am a Happy Bunny!.....LOL...😊....😊....!

Been looking at air fryers since the fad started, but decided they just do the same thing as one of those rotary health fryers that I bought during the last fad. Got the Breville Halo+ and like the air fryer, it does some things well but others not so much. Great for chips, though to make them tumble rather than just slide, you have to cut them into cubes rather than strips. Fantastic for chicken wings too. Reminds me, I've got some in the fridge that need eating. Probably a bit awkward for pies.

When it comes to air frying, we have the 2 drawer Ninja AF400UK and love it, but then there is only the two of us so it suits. Mate of mine down the road from you in Barrow (We'll call him Tall Brian) has just go the Ninja with the big Drawer that you can split into two AF500UK and loves it. My Mum got the Ninja double stack SL400UK and hates it and has gone back to her older Ninja AF100UK, she's on her own and this is much better for her. Ultimately it comes down to personal choiceand what you expect to get from it. Excited /interested to see what you get though.

Ninja Foodi 15 in1, for me is excellent. I've made pies, cakes, roasted meats, it is well worth the money, so much so, that I barely use my oven. I've also got a Hysapienta counter top 22L airfryer oven, which for about £140 has been a great buy and it makes great pies, you can even do a rotisserie chicken in it!

I don't use airfryers but i would recommend one without plastic inside. Doesn't sound too safe when heating to high temps.

Oh my such a tough question to ask on a Sunday morning. But the answer is simple. It's not!! Just be old fashioned and use the cooking methods given to us from the past🤔😳😀. Look hands up,🖐️✋👋👋 nearly 70yrs old, 50yrs in catering. Know things are moving along with the technology of the times. Sadly I'm not. We live in the fast, very fast food era. We want it yesterday 😋😛!!! So Gareth, thank you for the chance to view the the" enemy " and saw how I'd need to build an extension to house all the toys and gimmicks many people have in their kitchen ( that's just the stuff on show). Not the family favourites. Bread, Ice Cream, Yoghurt makers. Nor the home mincer, Food Mixer. Kitchens used to be the warm heart of the home. Now like a control room at space HQ NASA😂Sorry for old-fashioned bloke rambling 🧓🧔😥Enjoy the rest of your day. See you in the next video. Allan&Family

We have the basic Cosori one. It does Pukka pies no problem. I find that leaving the aluminium dish on the bottom of the pie makes them cook better.

Always just buy a ninja. I've got the foodie flex drawer and it's great. So much more powerful than any previous ones I've had and goes upto 240c which most air fryers don't, only 200. Plus you can go from two drawers to one big drawer to cook bigger things, ribs work wonderfully.

@@MrLostitnutter yes. It’s amazing. I use Ninja duo for chips, sausages, bacon and to reheat ready meals (occasionally), but do everything else in 15 in 1 one lid. It really is amazing and so much cheaper to run than the oven. The fact you can sauté whilst making a sauce, curry, casserole or whatever. I pressure cook chicken and other meats before making a meal. Then use sauté to start a recipe and add the meat which is always so tender.

Hi Gareth, with your following on KZbin I would contact a few air fryer companies to see if they can help. I got a Philips branded air fryer when energy prices shot up and it is brilliant for a wide variety of foods except for some deep & dense foods, but I still had to sometimes use the small compartment of my double oven that drinks electric. I then brought the same sage air fry oven as yours on sale at Sageuk plus got an additional discount code off the Coffeekev KZbin channel. Absolutely love it and my traditional oven is now redundant. It is also very energy efficient (works out the same as the air fryer) but it isn’t the easiest to clean. Cooks everything very well especially toast, pizzas and anything that you would normally use a traditional oven for. I still use the Philips for messy foods with parchment liners as I don’t like food in contact with Teflon style coatings. Definitely get an air fryer with a draw or two but apparently the one that stacks the draws vertically has a problem with uneven cooking. Cosori seems to be a popular brand and no.1 in the US. Prime day is coming up, there will be offers.

I like your Sage one more than the Ninja as it can fit a pizza which you've shown in the past. I can't cook Pizza currently as I got my gas disconnected due to not using it enough. The Sage is likely cheaper & more useful than buying a new electric cooker but either way they're still too expensive for me to justify for the sake of an occasional Pizza. I know I'd likely use it for much more things but still too expensive . I keep seeing Air Fryers eveytime I go shopping but there are so many it's a minefield knowing if they're any good or not.
