India's good fortune with Bollywood also spells bad news for indie music since everybody who has a stomach to feed gravitates towards where rozi roti lies and that is Bollywood. Pakistani musicians have always had to shine in the indie scene. Individual bands have always had to work very hard to get any recognition and that has in turn upped their game muchly. Then there's Rohail Hayat who has made his bones making good music from a very young age. It's not that India can't make good music. Pakistanis have been consuming Indian music and movies since before Pakistan existed 😅 Coke Studio India is just having a hard time letting go of the Bollywood glitz and glamour.

Coke studio ache hone se chal Rahi haina unki economy? Kya Bhai matlab har cheez ka comparison zaruri hai kya. 3 ya 4 song hit ho gye bas India se comparison karne lag jao. To comparison usme bhi Karo ki unke khud ke songs hone ke bawjood Indian songs hi chalte unke parties me or reels par.

Yahan tak india waly pakistan k popular tareen songs ka indian version bna lety and india waloon ko khud pta tk nahi chalta and pakistani kheraan hoty rehty k besharmi ki had hogai ye to. and yeah hmari economy nahi chal ri we already know ye bs reeng rahi, h kisi or k ye btany ki zrurat nai.

@@MariaKhan-ys9pm Not more than 5 or 6 songs are famous from coke studio in India and no there is nothing new coke studio is producing. Poosori is a song from coke studio what is new in that. Beats and music it's the same thing. So I don't see the exaxeration of Pakistani music. If it was so good what's the need of your famous singers to come to India and make music here they can stay in Pakistan and make music. It's just about the numbers. And I have heard your people saying that if you're songs do well in India they automatically do good in Pakistan. So yeah both countries make good music but I am not fasinating about coke studio Pakistan.

Simple bcz! as India has many industry to produce commercial music and pakistan doesn't Indian coke studio give space to idea which are very unique and might not make money meanwhile pakistan uses coke studio for commercial music!!
