This is actually a very smart strategy because DM and DMG usually come out for free anyway, they are only bad if you draw into them in your opening hand but even then you can just pend summon them. There aren't many ways to counter spells either, at least not in anything top tier. Will have to see how this plays going 2nd against a board that needs breaking and/or omninegate backrow.

@@ShinerCCC so i just watched it back, he wasnt using siegfried, so is what i did i was using my adventure punk therion deck. I summoned my gryphon rider off his special he than maxx c'ed his turn, he ddd deus ex my add to hand off of ze amin, to attatch it to his deus ex, used foxy effect in hand which was hit by called by, than i used deer note effect to reveal my other copy of foxy in hand, to spec summ deer out, went to battle phase, crashed deer note into his flame high king, to kill my copy of gryphon rider and deer, which procced my foxy in grave which i also crashed into his flame high, to make sure i had 0 on field during the end of my battle phase, than used my copy of bull ain in hand on mp2, to attatch deer note from grave to use ain effect to destroy his last card on field. So im full of crap i guess it wasnt 1 card it was a long chain lol. EDIT: He was using siegfried but i used regulus negate to stop the siegfried negate but he didnt play siegfried till like turn 6 cause we were constantly board wiping each other
