Hi Jesse you did Dunedin well Im a local living on the peninsula but we are up there with sunshine hours 2100 hours in 2021 and in fact its quite dry here about 600mm of rain. But yes we do get alot of coastal cloud as the warm airmass from inland strikes the cold Pacific.

Nice video! I grew up in Dunedin and was never really able to appreciate it back then, but now I quite miss it. I haven't been there in over 10 years and now live in Brazil. I am going to show my Wife your video, because she's Brazilian and I'd really like her to see some parts of my hometown. Thanks for the video!

When I married a Kiwi (36 years ago) I knew I'd be coming to NZ to live. The first time I visited (I am English) I saw a lot of the North Island first. Then we came South, to visit newly married friends in Dunedin. I knew from that moment that Dunedin was where I wanted to live. And, 35 years after that visit, I've been here for over 25 years! I love Dunedin as much as I love my birthplace. It's HOME.

I remember reading that while researching NZ cities.Auckland the most, right?The most "tropical". Christchurch also had a damn fine climate as i remember.How's that place? I've only been to Auckland and Windy-Welly, yes, it was EXTREMELY windy!

The reason you like Dunedin so much is because you have no yet done Nelson. Nelson is the only place you can be truly infamous and this guy kzbin.info is truly infamous.
@JesseStLouis3 жыл бұрын
I have been to Nelson and have met Kieran. Was supposed to do some caving with him but he got too busy I guess.
@edgeplay42053 жыл бұрын
@@JesseStLouis As you can see from the vids he is pretty technical and that takes a bit of training. The Nelson Caving group can give you some action like maybe a Nettlebed thru trip or a Bulmer tourist trip. Bohemia is also huge. Harwoods is also great.
@JesseStLouis3 жыл бұрын
@@edgeplay4205 I am a trained and have plenty of technical rope work knowledge. I am a certified canyoneering guide with plenty of experience so I find your posts a little condescending.
@edgeplay42053 жыл бұрын
@@JesseStLouis I did not see that in any of your vids, which is why I mentioned it. In that case you will have a ball in Nelson. The NCG has a hut base on Canaan Downs.
