AWS is great at providing building blocks but you really need some "last-mile" opinionated layer to achieve maximum developer productivity with serverless. SST gives you a lot of power without a lot of opinion.

I've written a tool for my current employer based on SST. I have to say although I know AWS at the beginning I struggled a bit because of the misleading documentation ... If you dig down the code however and download that ebook you get accelerated... I was stunned seeing about 15 AWS components being deployed with 5 liners on each of them... within 10m. This was amazing! I wonder how stable the code base will be and if they would like to keep up the documentation and patterns in a non dev fashion. Also code maintenance for clients over years could be an issue. The website if augmented with the right infos, should be fine. In one word pretty cool stuff! And amazing... Thanks.
