Been exercising for over 20 years it helps a lot its hard to get started i find when you meditate it helps you to get started.

Exercising in most mornings-even just 5-15 min of PT, core, back, or general calisthenics-has helped me both get off to a great start (I know what I’m gong to do first thing), feel better (see How to ADHD : How exercise can help with ADHD), and I’ve found this I dispensable to keeping aches and pains down from age and sleeping positions.

As I get older, I am beginning to strongly suspect that a lack of physical movement-and maybe even a low physical fitness-is seemingly a source of aches & pains &min itself. Especially in my life in middle age, consistent modest exercise and sources of more fun exercise (w the kids, w my favorite sports, although not too much too soon) have really boosted my mood & stress relief.😊 And I’ve anecdotally seen multiple elderly people where a lowering of physical fitness leads to an increase in health problems, while I’ve seen a few examples of increased physical exercise helping alleviate or at least stave off physical problems (joints, aches, muscle pains, etc) that were worsening.
